Hi! 'said' is some communication between two people. Similarly, the other alternatives mentioned in your video, excepting 'estimate'. Estimate is something that a person does alone, but does not necessarily convey. It can be conveyed by 'mentioned' or 'said'. I hope you agree.

I loved this one in particular since I'm writing dialogue quite a lot. But these are quite specific. So, like the announced one, I sometimes use it for regular situations. But report is a no-go in my head unless there's a talk between high placed people in police-like or idk, king-like situations. Basically, what this video make me wish for is another video on words that I can use in every day situations, like deny. Words like implied, exclaimed, emphasised. If there is one about this already, someone, please let me know. I might've missed it.

Hello teacher, how are you? I hope you're fine. Very interesting class. The question that came up in my brain is if eventually these verbs "supports" reported speech (including its rules). I figure that is possible, v gr. Tom: "I went to the school with Ronald Reagan", Mary: "Tom mentioned he has gone to the school with Ronald Reagan" but I don't know if such constructions are "forced" like insert the circle in the triangle :). Well Madam I really appreciate these videos your upload, I hope you have a nice week.
