My personal opinion is most of it's based on maturity and throttle control (meaning can you prevent yourself from twisting the giggle grip or not). That being said, most beginners lack any semblance of maturity as soon as the throw a leg over and even 200cc bikes wind up getting over on them. It's like any maturity just completely leaves their bodies and the giddy toddler personality takes full control. They aren't nearly as frightened as they should be or they get complacent too quickly.

hey! Cool vid...i started on a kawsaki z750, i understand your points for sure but ive had no problems and this was my first bike ever. Iam 31 and alot more sensible than i was in my 20s, so this is a major factor for sure. If i got started riding in my 20s with this bike, i probably wouldnt be here so all in all i do agree. But it is possible to start on 600 and above without dying, like you said lol. safe riding out there

I started on CB 125R... today my XSR700 was delivered. I'm so excited. btw motorcycle exam in my country is on MT-07 and all mandatory training before it is also on MT-07 I went to riding school with zero experience and first 2 hours was on 125cc, when I got familiar with bike and some slow manoeuvrers I got XJ6 to feel the weight difference and after doing training on that they gave me MT-07. Meanwhile I rode CB 125R because you can ride it on car license.

Do you mean a Z650? I’m not sure if they make Z600. Hmmmm, maybe a 500 will be good for you!
