This is what I did. and two years later, I finished school and I am having an exhibition in a gallery in a major city. I never said a word to anyone about my life or what I was doing. "Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise". We complain to other people for validation. what if you just prove to YOURSELF that you can succeed? You dont need anyone's validation but your own.

Let me point out…this entire message is about ‘stop telling people about what’s going on in your life’, and then, at the end, he contradicts himself, and says “Let’s share our stories, struggles, and lift each other up”. I do agree with focusing on your blessings, abundance, and trying hard to reprogram your negative thoughts. But, let me tell you,there is sooooo much power and healing in raw connection, leaning on one another, and being authentic in our interactions. We are human and have natural disastrous circumstances, loss, and pain, and we should not be masking the storm inside as it leads to great internal isolation and sorrows. We need ‘authentic’ bonds/relationships/friendships, and they should be built on truth not downplaying and hiding; that’s lying with omission. Staying silent when you’re hurting inside, will lead to great misery. It’s only in ‘TRUTH’ that you will be set free. This means showing up as you are…always come as you are.

I noticed that too and was like, “Wait a minute!” However, I interpret it as not focusing on the negative stories and the problems by telling and re-telling those same stories to everyone we meet and every encounter we have because all that does is reinforce it and we start identifying with those problems and negative stories. Whatever we focus on grows after all.

@d.m.webb-benjamin3576
3 ай бұрын
For example I don't share my stories or vulnerabilities in order to get support or validation of any kind. Mostly I do it so others feel safe to open up about their problems. Because as many of you already pointed out, we need real authentic connections in order not to feel alone. A person with a deep issue thinks they're alone feeling as they do and yet the truth is, we all feel pretty much the same about most areas of our lives or at least we can find a lot of people who do. But I get what Dr. Dispenza is trying to say and inspire us to do - not to FOCUS entirely on your own problem too long, not to obsess with useless old thoughts, even if they seem problematic. So much of what we think about is in the past or is outside of our control and we just love to obsess about the drama. I know I used to and I still need to control myself. And when I catch myself looking for unnecessary drama, I force myself to think about useful ideas how to promote my book or create a new Etsy product. It's about balance I guess. There is a time when we have to tell about our feelings, to just let them out, perhaps get a bit support or even help - in order to be able to move on. Sometimes we tell our current stories in order to connect on an authentic level and not just stay on the surface of 'ladida everything is dandy all the time and my life is perfect' when we all know it never is. And sometimes we've been staying on our current problem way too long simply because we're afraid to move on or reach out for our dreams and then, YES, the thing to do is what Joe Dispenza keeps saying - have productive thoughts and try to feel the life you actually want - and TAKE ACTION. I believe the TAKE ACTION bit doesn't get pointed out enough. It's one thing to visualise, but then you've also got to move your butt ;)

Guys this is AI, it’s not the real Dr Joe’s voice or speech (there is a disclaimer in the description of the video). Although the message is not bad, as many people noticed in the comments it has a lot of inconsistencies and flaws and gets very repetitive. What’s holding me back from seeing a greater future for my self, and actually from being able to see myself in any meaningful future is my fear of failure. I have had a few successes over the years, but way more failures. It becomes hopeless to continue planning when I can’t see a success behind it. I purposely throw all of my stuff out through humor. It heals me and it gives others a sense of community and self-acceptance ❤
@Steve-i5295

Well the flip side of that is people talking behind your back guessing what is going on, and you step out in front of that explaining your viewpoint, that the situation is changing into a different situation. My suggestion is that you then state you don't want to bore them with the details, but I did not want you to hear it from someone else. That also opens the door for them to offer help, which may not happen in silence. And if it is too complicated to sort out in a few days, just say so, that is why you might not see me as much as you did in the past, working on stuff. So the 'risk' spilling the beans might be misunderstanding, or the person might know who to pay to help you hire someone to give you help and wrap it up in a few hours or days, that could be a possibility. The older you get you sometimes become quieter because you learn to avoid misunderstandings, gossip and pointlessness that wastes your time.

There are two motivations in life- pity/credit on one side or good/effective on the other. There's an old saying, "You can have your pity or your good, you cannot have both." If people that generally want pity hear you talk about your good results they think you are bragging because you want credit. They don't understand the joy in success/problem solving/creativity. It goes completely over their head. Different language, similar words.
