Have you had this elbow pain before? It's AWFUL! I would say stretch #3 and exercise #5 are my two favorites as they helped my elbow the most. Which are your favorites? Thanks so much for watching!

Thank you and I love these exercises.. I love you for sharing them ❤️ ..doctors in India don't believe me when I say that I have a tennis elbow because of excessive writing and sitting all day. I was suffering so much because of this pain but after doing these exercises for a few minutes I experienced a tingling sensation and resistance in that painful lateral epicondyle muscle ..but my wrist pain ( in ring pinky and middle) reduced slightly.. Thank you soooooooo much ! Now your channel is my go to ..for all the pains that I experience due to my sedentary lifestyle..

Wow! Exercises 2, 3 and ESPECIALLY 4 ... RELIEF, for the first time in years. I'm a 66 year old sedentary woman, and developed the epicondylitis during some gruelling years of excessive overtime computing work (as a graphic designer, minute control of the computer mouse is vital - even if it sounds wierd!). Add to that my love of heavy tool gardening - an elbow injury just waiting to happen. So I'm hugely grateful for this video. Thank you!

Hoping to retire in 2 years. (God willing) i loved your video on this! Do you recommend a steroid shot if it persists? I work almost 5 days a week cleaning. One house a day compared to 2 a few years ago. I've always been into fitness and take care of myself. I know physical therapy takes weeks but it would be better than another surgery. Such a Great Help, doctor! I just get this around 2 weeks ago. The pain start from that point of left elbow and gradually spread down to the wrist and up to left neck. I've gone to physicians, get antiinflammatories. It's not swelling now but when the medication stop, the pulsating pain persist. Will this RICE and exercises helps to eventually cure the pain totally, doc? What's other thing I need to do in order to heal fully? Is it normal that the pain spread up to the left neck? Thank you so much, doctor. Keep bringing the Light of Knowledge for commoners like us. May you be well and happy always. Much Blessings for you.

I have had tendonitis in forearms / tennis elbow for 15 years. I had a cleaning business so definitely overuse. I love lifting weights and after several years I was unable. I had no idea why ( too busy to take care of myself I guess; worked 3 jobs and 💯single mom of many ). I also started having pain with shoulders; biceps and triceps ( both arms) and with the tendinitis still in elbows and forearms and I had no idea why all the other parts hurt all the time and I couldn’t lift my arm. I eventually retired from cleaning though except for 1 small job ; no more mansions😅and doing more than full time administrative/ typing desk work. This made things worse and trying to lift weights but would have to stop after a few weeks due to pain. Last month; I finally got answers. I have tendinitis in shoulders; biceps; triceps; and still have it in forearms and elbows. I’m a mess. 😢 I have been having massages often and it finally ( after 2.5 months ) started feeling like things were just starting to get better but my therapist had to take 2 months off. So I’ve been stretching but the pain just comes back. I’m going to start strengthening as well and use your vids. I’m feeling rather discouraged as I have heard massage doesn’t break down scar tissue unless deep deep; and I have all this tendinitis on both arms. I heard it can take a very long time and you basically have to be doing it exercises every day. There only so much time in the day and I’m really needing to get back to doing what I love ; weight training and running. I have to have sx in early fall ; and I need to drop 15 lbs before sx. At my age; weight loss can be tricky without building back my muscle I lost over these 10 years. Thank you so much for your vids. I have been using a few others you have kindly put out and I’m so grateful. 🙏🏻

@@TheReverb1 because it doesn’t address the chain. These exercises don’t focus on what is deficient and causing the forearm extensors to be overloaded to create this tendinopathy. Unfortunately, this is par for the course in the physical therapy realm and it gives us a bad name. Need to assess and address the shoulder, scapula, thoracic spine, etc. in order to really fix this. Doing what this video tells you to do will only possibly relieve it temporarily

I developed tennis elbow a couple years ago from framing houses. Lots of long hours and not realizing I was doing damage until it was too late. I have been living with the pain and off and on. I can’t even pickup a framing nailer without pain and when the weather changes, I feel pain and fatigue. These stretches really helped me. I am getting used to taking more care of my body. I don’t wish this pain on anyone. But just from the few exercises and stretches I’ve done, I can tell a small difference but it’s definitely an improvement which I’m going to incorporate in my morning routine. Thanks !

Tennis elbow is the shittiest. I have it because I drive a truck and the vibration up through the steering column and the constant moving of the steering wheel. After years and years of driving, my elbows have had it. Rest helps, but when it's your livelihood, it's hard to do. Use an elbow brace, that will help and also I take Naproxine, (A good quality anti-inflamitory and slow release pain relief). 2x in the morning and 1x at night before bed. Helps a great deal. They can irritate the linning of the stomack so I also take 1x Lansoprazole in the morning. Don't know what I would have done without them. Good luck at work. Naproxine are great.

These are some excellent exercises thank you! I am in month six of my tennis elbow and I'm just desperate for relief to get back to my resistance training.

@@toneandtighten I have that at the moment and looking for a comprehensive video like the one of yours on tennis elbow - golfer elbow is extremely common among rock and ice climbers these days as those sports are becoming more and more popular

Hi, great video. Question, how long for the inflammation to go down? Or how long do I wait before moving to stretch and strength exercises? I got this after knitting, and this has been over a month now :( thanks so much
