I have a coworker that can only take one type, and that type is constantly having shortages and constantly having to hunt down every single pharmacy, and they were born with it, so there's no options. I'm sick of keyboard warriors that dont know wtf they're talking about.

Try not to let it get to you to much bub. My son is a Type 1 and I was a Type 2 for over a year. He has been since he was 5 and just celebrated his 12th birthday. Lots of info out there and unfortunately lots of partial info out there. Not to mention people's ideas that all "diabetes" is the same. Your pancreas basically dies off for type 1's. So your body no longer creates it at all instead of just not working properly like in type 2s. Want to give out helpful info from experience first hand, however haven't for the reason you are dealing with. Unfortunately not enough people will take a minute just to research themselves. Keep up the great work bub 👊

Thank you for making this video to clarify the use of insulin, for folks who are dependent on it.

Raised a kid with severe type 1, dexcom pump, all that. Met a guy treating his type 1 with papaya and African nuts. I give him less than 3 months. Dude can't barely walk.

I know couple people that if they don't have their injector pin they would be in a bad way real fast. There is nothing else that will help them. They keep multiple pins in multiple locations so they never without one. It is sad that some people have to depend on that for life. And it's even a greater travesty that pharmaceutical companies have screwed so many over cost of a life saving drug.

I have a family member that takes 3 types of insulin. He just got some Trulicity after 4 months being without due to shortages. We used to get the Walmart brand insulin years ago, but it was just ineffective.

He was switched to other brands of similar insulin also lately due to unavailability of his regular brands. Still, we have to make frequent trips because of being given partial fills. Sometimes, we have to check multiple pharmacies and travel to get it. Still, the Trulicity could not be located until now.

We tried to get insulin from Walmart n she said she needed a prescription. My sons insulin was 200$ with insurance. A1C levels need to be checked by endocrinologist every 3 months. Its a blood test that takes an average blood level of the last 3 months.

its interesting to me so many people are having trouble getting their insulin. ive worked in pharmacies for 27 years, drug shortages are nothing new. i think the wholesalers/distributors prioritize certain customers, like hospitals. i currently work at a pharmacy that services prisons. we've had no issues getting insulin, and we use ALOT. Maybe folks that are having a hard time finding what they need, try checking your local hospitals outpatient pharmacy to get your prescription. take care and god bless everyone❤

Herbal meds are good for some illnesses but many illnesses are more involved and serious, even life-threatening and herbs won't help. Thank you for removing misinformation from the comments.

Chameleon plant is good ( reportedly) for blood sugar regulation. I had a friend ( God rest his soul)!who had bad diabetes. I gave him chameleon plant tea and He was so happy he got a woodie. Too much information I said. I'm not sure it helps just telling my experience with it. It is very invasive. I don't care. The health benefits are astounding. Grow baby grow!!! I found this out after having moved and bringing many of my plants and trees and ( not aware yet of the health benefits) I was very careful not to bring any with me. After 5 years it reared its pretty little leaves. That is when I learned how good this plant is.
