Kind of on the same note, if you make any sort of scope adjustment on the turrets, just take a sighter. Too many times I see people make an adjustment on the windage knob and then keep shooting for record. We are all human and dialing the wrong way happens a ton.

Yes great tip because I know that I have done it so many times where I have adjusted my turrets the wrong way

Full relaxation behind your rifle takes at least 5 minutes. That in itself will halve your group size. The platform you shoot off should be "dead", devoid of vibration. So no truck bonnet, wood pallet, or plastic fold out table. I love to get perfect zero with a tested ammo on a calm day/perfect conditions. Then take notes. From then on any shifts are the conditions of the day to work to, with a reliable reference for the use of. Each time out builds a practical history to further build the practical picture for future reference. Ha ho, all good fun.

Great advice for everybody! Mirage will certainly make a mess of your target! I had a great learning experience last time at 200!

Good points, but I haven't seen that many mirages in Canada LOL!!! Breath and squeeze is how I show some folks to attain better accuracy , especially new shooters .Cheers!!

Yes where I am from it is always hot and humid which makes the air like a soup. That is a great tip and new shooters really need to slow down and take the time with trigger control

Some competive 22 lr shooters almost never clean their bore once they find the ammo their rife likes.

Yes that's right some shooters are very particular how they manage their equipment
