BEST LESSON IN LIFE: DO NOT lay down for the night and think... " I'll watch 'Steve Heartman's ON THE ROAD' video and unwind to fall asleep." Nope! Lesson learned!! 😁 Because I started watching and ended up watching MULTIPLE VIDEOS. THEN I LOOK AT THE CLOCK.... It us NOW 10:18a and I didn't get a wink of sleep!!! 😲🫢🤣 I laughed, I cried, I didn't look away for 1 second. That is how GREAT these stories are!!! ❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

And yes the one mother was right - the really sad part is they have to grow up. SMH. They have a great start to life. I hope they keep it up and continue to be TWINS IN THEIR SOUL FOREVER. Wow! What great people! They’re truly doing so much more good than they realize, there’s lots of Senior’s in bad places financially, and it’s really not their fault, they were lied to. They should have had enough money to support themselves after paying so much into something for so very many years……

"Our sympathy never solves anything" Steve Hartman says at approximately 1:20:25 , very profound and applicable to all the stories in this video. Let's do something for our neighbor, make a stranger your neighbor, and "won't you be my neighbor" as Mr. Rogers would say. My videos on practical tips on almost everything coming to my KZitem channel soon. ; )

Yeah? My aunt had one of those "prison pen pal" things going on with someone who was supposed to be in prison for life, no parole. He escaped and came looking for her. Unless you already knew the person prior to their arrest, leave them alone. Spend your love on people on the outside who actually need it, like the homeless, hungry kids, etc.

Of course, the justice system is imperfect, because every human being in the material world is born with 4 defects, 1; we are born with imperfect senses, 2; we fall into illusion, 3; we make mistakes and 4; we have the propensity to cheat.

Dear Steve, thank you so very much for presenting "On the Road." I've been rather depressed with with the cruelty of of Politics and how people blindly embrace it. My health has not been good for several years since the cruelty began. This evening, I fell asleep and woke up at my desktop computer and one of many wonderful episodes of "On the Road" was playing on my desktop. I never knew it existed. It warmed my heart and made me feel so happy that there are so many kind people in the world. Thank you for spreading the kindness and love that we all need so so very much. Today, a dear friend of mine, named Lili, succumbed to Multiple Myloma. She is one of several friends who have passed away. Lili and and I both flew for an "unconventional airline, named line named "Capitol Air." We traveled all over the world were so grateful that we were physically able to do that and share the experiences with many other like minded flight attendants. We have not been able to travel, in recent time. At least we had email to stay in touch. I miss Lili so much and your program, made me smile with tears of gratitude. I'm at the age where many friends are passing and what we have now are fond memories... Thank you for lifting my spirits.

To GABE: I too lost my memory wgen i had a STROKE in 2005. With help from FRIENDS AND FAMILY some memories have returned and I am able to cherish them, some have not. When you got emotional about regaining those lost memories..... I KNOW HOW THAT FEELS. Here it is ALMOST 20 YEARS LATER and some simple things like, remembering what those things are that cover a window, ( curtains) is hard to keep in my vocabulary bank. But it dies get better. Tge hardest thing i found to get back was RE-LEARNING the alphabet, numbers, and READING A BOOK, A SIGN, JUST READING. I am glad i have all that back, at least. Head up, it DIES GET BETTER!! 😁

If you’ve never created a surprise fairy garden for a child… I highly recommend it to add several years to your life and tons of love, imagination and creativity to theirs! My favorite thing about a two-year journey across the US after retirement was the children we were so blessed to meet at Airbnb and Jiu Jitsu schools across the nation. One particular precious girl just outside Tacoma pulled our heartstrings so much and we did a fairy garden for her. I’ll never forget all the wonder in her eyes! As we shopped for all the cute little tiny items, things would pop out, and I knew they were little signs from heaven that we were doing something special for a child who truly needed to know she was a priceless treasure. Little signs, for example like Hobby lobby had two small wooden stools which were perfect size for her and her baby sister to sit and observe the fairy land. I got each stool for about $2.50!
