Some people really change… As part of community engagement activities at our university, we (students) were tasked to work with Mr Tshepo Mboweni on a community project based in Soweto (Mercy AIDS Foundation) and a farming project based in several schools. His passion for community development is humbling.

Mina I still say we need space. I feel like partly the f-d up things that happen in such large quantities in our homes and communities is because we lack space to self express in a proper way. How do you think of what you need to do and be when you live in a complete home the size of a white man's tool shed with a population so large you see new faces everyday in the same area? You just become a spiral of everyday transformation there is nothing that is consistant in those states. Somethings we need not experience like this simply because you got space to think- children are capable of thought, couple that with a squeezed-in environment your brain oozes out thoughts like seeing a life in crime and stuff that comes back to be a haunt. Why is expansion for the sake of the Native such a hard thing to comprehend?
