Man, You have My sympathy, I can only imagine how tired and depressing fighting all that snow and cold could be. You've done this so many times before, hopefully any more storms won't be to bad. Just don't get on that Whiskey !! A fellow might not sober up till the first of May.

We're around that 96-97 snow year. Not as bad yet but if one more bad storm comes through it'll put it down as the worst winter on record. Only 2 calves so far but snow and ice all over.

Appreciate the videos! I think I'd be a little bit too high strung for your big operation😂 You do a great job taking care of what have👍

My word! Lots of moisture, but the frozen kind is hard on animals, equipment and people. Hopefully you don’t flood out now. Stay safe, warm and take care of those babes.

Haha. Let’s hope they pass me to go up north. Lol. I seen Canadian Geese circling around our farm. There isn’t even any bare ground for them to pick at.

We switched to May calving in 2008 here in SW SD. My mental and physical health have improved dramatically.

We feel ur pain we here in SE South Dakota are experiencing the same snow and windy conditions as u guys up north. I still haven't been able to dig my calf shelters out yet and 1 of them I'm not sure how big of drift is over it but I'm guessing it's about 10' high so not sure we can use that one. We will be 🙏 for everyone who is calving or about to start calving because with all the snow it's going to be a wet spring and by the way it's the first day of SPRING. Take care and God bless

Geez that’s a lot of snow! We don’t even have that much in northeastern Wisconsin. Unfortunately, by looking at your drone footage it looks like your wire fencing is drifted over. Hopefully there’s not too much damage to repair when the snow finally melts.
