I have been remote like that. While you have options for breakfast, I did not. But every morning waking up to see for miles down the snow covered mountain, brings back memories. You having a schedule each day, cleaning off the solar panels, shoveling and other chores keeps you occupied during the day. It was a beautiful video

That wind is wicked! Been up Mount Washington last summer and it was cold and really windy. Can only imagine how cold it feels in winter. Wondering how you are coping with the seclusion? It isn’t for everyone, but you seem well adjusted to being alone and do not need a group of people around to exist. If you are comfortable being by yourself, your personality benefits greatly in the long run, not having to rely on others is a great trait, which is missing in many young people these days. Keep up the great videos!

You obviously can pick your day to go up high. Beautiful! What are the blocks you burn in the stove for heat? Have you had many climbers staying overnight?

I was just wonderin' the other day how you were doing. Every coffee lover seems to love the Aero but I've held off since moving to pour overs years ago. My greatest coffee challenge presently is finding 'very' dark Indonesian or Arabian beans. 😕 Enjoy that solitude. I'm envious!

I have had so many wonderful times staying at that hut. I took my then nine your old daughter on her first backpacking trip there back in 2012, she loved it and we stayed a second night because she did not want to leave. The following year we did the Presidential’s. It started many more adventures. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Abby, what are the options for parking to access the hut?. It doesn’t appear that you can park at the Lowe’s store anymore

Abby, Super to watch! Very extreme! It seems that you are able to thrive in one of the most challenging environments in the Northeast? How do you do it? Meaning, doing what you have to get done each day and always keeping in mind how to get it done safely; without putting yourself in jeopardy. You are awesome! Very tough! Have you had many visitors? How do the other hikers handle these difficult conditions? Looking forward to your next video! Can't wait! Thanks!!!!!!!!! Kevin

What are the white blocks that you are stoking the stove with?

I think they are those compressed blocks of recycled wood you can purchase at many hardware stores in New England.
