Back then, as a kid we go to the corn field to pick some corn that are rejected after the harvest season. We take it back home and cook it. We grill the tough corns and boil the young ones. Me, my siblings including my parents eat it as we watch the moon and stars as we share our stories. Everytime when I smell a grilled or boiled corn, I remember those fun memories. Memories that are worth remembering and keeping.
Today, I harvested waxy corn in the corn field. I take it back at my hut and cook it for the family. We eat it like in the old days.
