Still have my original mach 2s from my childhood, curious if you experienced any tweeter issues due to the ferrofluid drying up. Did you use electrolytic capacitors for your recap.

Hi, yes i almost binned the tweeters. One was ok and the other one didn't sound well. Much less volume and different frequencies.I didn't know about this ferofluid until i was trying to replace the tweeter, but to keep the plastic horn.I got that black paste on my hands and i didn't know what is it.Soon after i cleaned the tweeter coil and magnet the tweeter came back to life.few days later i replaced the ferofluid. Speaking about capacitors they are non electrolytic. You can revers them.

Part of the reason they don't sound good is where you have them placed. Movie them out from the corner.

Nice work. These are great speakers. A suggestion for you, though. They are pronounced like "mock two" and not "match two".

@@ciprian107 Your English is very good. Mach is a weird pronunciation.

@@PaulBecker1 thank you for your support. I will try to make more videos about speakers in general, as I sold the Realistics, but I didn't have enough time. I had quite a few pairs of speakers in the last past year. At the moment I am doing some training... And I have few exams to pass... So I am quite busy. Thank you again!

@@ciprian107 Danny Richie of G.R. research does mods as well . by replacing the parts with better voice coils & crossovers Or so he claims I dont recommned him in youre case. Unless you have a small pair of speakers in the garage or where ever youre not usingsomething of quality? it might be worth it to send em in to seei if you like his mods? ..he probaley pissed off a lot of speaker co with his mods ?... perhaps youre one step ahead of him it seems like he knows what the hell hes doin?

@@davidmorgen4558 well, i like speakers in general. I am not that crazy to spend thousands and thousands in speakers. I believe a good pair of speakers will be around 500-1500£. I like DIY too but is hard to match crossover and drivers when you want a 3 way speakers. Speaking about mods.. i don't like this kind of staff. I see people on youtube modifying the crossover until they get a "flat sound". I see it differently, if the speakers sound good to your ears, and makes you happy, doesn't matter how flat is the sound. Put a decent DAC and you're all set. I believe my last video i posted with the realistic speakers (modified) because i couldn't find a replacement for one of the mids, in my opinion sounds much better than the original, but is not flat at all when i check the frequency graph. I boosted on mids because the mid range drivers are more efficient. Check it out. Thanks
