So again which is it, there in the best cars, or they are the best drivers.... Youve both diluted one with the other. If its a superior car, drivers skill is less valuable, cars a dog, driver skill is more valuable. There winning cos there in the best cars? or they are the best drivers? Stop bluring the line between the 2. Mercedies 8 times constructors champs, of course lewis picked up 6 titles. I rest my case (stroll could have won the in the merk ffs)

@@AnIdiotAboard_ its whatever you want it to be. Fact of the matter is that the two are part of the same overall outcome. A competitive care with a good driver gets results. Its really as simple as that. If you want my opinion, Ash is the best driver on the grid. The car, is up there, one of the top 3 cars on the grid. Those 2 factors combined give you 2 wins and p2 and some fastest laps for bragging rights. You don't need to make a mountain out of a molehill. Have a good day.

Collard was robbed. They were all exceeding track limits at times, yet he's the only one that's penalised. And not by a (possibly) fair drop of one place oy two, but by an incomprehensible 10 secs. The lack of video evidence is most notable by its total absence. As was a comparison with the same behaviour by other unpenalised drivers. At this rate, we'll be back to non-contact no-after-you gentleman's racing and the series will simply haemorrhage fans, right at the time TCR UK is picking up the pace. Non-name Jobsworths at Motorsport UK trying to justify their, no-doubt, hefty salaries by coming up with insane rules for imaginary issues, that aren't there. How did Motorsport in the UK survive without their help for the last 100yrs !?.........Also, just to rub salt into the wound, the obvious arrogance and petulance of the big guy at the weigh station was an absolute disgrace. The slamming of Collard's door was a clear case of 'look at how important I am' and possibly unnecessary passive aggression towards a man of somewhat small stature. Would love to have seen the big lad do the same thing to Matt Neal, all black-belt equipped 6' 6" of him. Simple, he wouldn't.

All collard had to do was stay within the white lines and couldn’t even do that… what a skill issue. If he really deserved that win he would’ve fended off Sutton within the boundaries of the track…

@@AZBCDEEagree, sutton had the pace for sure. I like Ricky but the rules are rules and if you need to (somewhat understandably) break them to keep the fastest man on circuit behind, your going to get penalised for it.

I noticed that Rob was upset on this, but I do have to side with the rules. Sutton was applying pressure and Alex was under the cosh. Too many in my view, but given the standard across the field the stewards need to be more consistent. Pace wise Alex was on the back foot and tried all he could. I'm sure he'll be smarter next time.
