I rememberd when I was little(8) tins were hard ,I sell pure water ,boil groundnut and orange ,my dad later had stroke after arm robbers took his okada at gun point. I sell so many tins and I was so so little then,I remember one day,I came to the house to eat and my mother held my hand and bless me and she promised me that even if she have to sell all her belongings to make sure that I finish school to any level of my choice that will do it,thins was bad that we fed from the gain I earned in selling pure water ,"like if I sell 3bags," I will use my gain from that 3 bags to buy things for soup(120naira )to buy okoro 20, crayfish 10,haf pant garri 70,ugu 10and Maggi 5naira. My dad later died and more suffering continued. wen I was 14 dropped from ss1 first term and started doing sells girl . I did sells for 5years and one ,as I was tieing goods my husband was beside there looking at me( long story short) he married me and took me to Cameron and today I'm a mum of 3 and mother's life have change,no more suffering again,I thank God.

OMG! Never knew you guys went through a lot with that monster called poverty. I've had few years of valley experience as an adult due to persecution for my faith in Christ before I left my parents' house that my late dad sold in 2011 in kaduna. He later died in Lokoja on December 1, 2014. The man who bought the house and his wife earlier died in October 2012 & July 2013 respectively from various sicknesses. God fought for me greatly. I persevered & now living free in my residence from their failed conspiracies to keep me wretched. Truly it's a privilege where the Lord has lifted me up to and my past experiences has made me to be closer to the less privileged and struggling youths/students in Nigeria. Whoever is passing through temporal fiery trials, I want to let you know that Jesus loves 💙you and will bring you out if you surrender your burdens to Him in simple sincere prayer and praise. God bless you all as I remember you in my prayers. 💎🙏🏽

She also hawks, I and my siblings hawks..I remember hawking red oil, kerosene, beans and more, even when I was still in Uni...thank God things have changed am now in the UK and I know my life and my family has changed forever. God bless you and your family Favour...and to everyone's comment here, God will perfect our testimonies, we will never know a better yesterday.. Dos still going through stuff, God is coming for you!

You're lucky you scaled through at a young age. Unlike some of us who started suffering from birth and still struggling even in our late 20s. For me, I left home at the age of six to serve as a housemaid just because I wanted to go to school like my fellow children and my parents couldn't afford to train me even in the cheapest school in the village. Dad had stroke at a very young age, I can't tell the cause. If I start writing all the experiences I had as a housemaid, it'll fill this page. The beatings (which I still have some marks on my body as a result) the starvation. The abuse, even the school that made me leave my parents and siblings, I no go. I went from home to home when the maltreatment became so much. I didn't want to go back to village because I wasn't used to village life even till today. I only visit. I eventually became independent at the age of 16. I got an apartment through the money I realized from family members during Christmas. I started working as a sales girl to finish secondary School. I wasn't going to school just attending lessons. My first salary was 4k(four thousand naira) it's nothing to write home about. When the going became though, I had to take senior waec in ss1 because I was going to drop out. I just wanted to have sec. School cert. I was blessed with a sharp brain from birth. I credited all subjects except "IGBO" out of the nine subjects, I credited eight. That was all till date. I've moved from state to state doing all kinds of job to survive.
