Just remember that whenever a blessings seems like it is delayed, it is for our own good! A lot of times, when we receive what we ask for too early, we end up ruining our chances of keeping it due to not being prepared. Think of it like taking a cake out of the oven too soon. You will more than likely end up sick eating a cake that isn't ready as opposed to waiting for it to cook all the way through before consuming it... I hope this makes sense. The main idea is that Allah's timing is the best! And He will absolutely never leave you ❤

I am also sometimes drinking, missing my prays. I feel like i am on the brink of the abyss. I searched 'finding islam' on youtube. Just clicked your video and i rememberd i was following you a year ago. Insallah i will got me too. Love and respect you.

Something that helps me and like helping myself to stay away from haram things such as drinking is to think that everything that is haram,Allah made haram for a reason. For example, drinking is haram because alcohol can call u to act reckless and do/ make bad decisions and can harm you and other people too. I’ve came across so many times where I could Easily do something haram and get away it hit but I stopped myself because I always think that how would that haram action affect my life and my after life. I’m still struggling with praying 5 times a day but we’re all in this together.also I understand how when your in collage majority of kids drink, smoke , and do lot of haram and even illegal things. The best thing is to find good friends who don’t go to parties and drink and all that stuff. You need a good influence on yourself .I wish you the best of luck.

I love this video so much Tomiwa. Honestly, I can relate to everything. I'm also from a Muslim home but I wasn't raised to wear the hijab all the time and I also attended a very religious Pentecostal Christian school and everyone was so similar. I felt like an outcast. I kept wishing I was born to a Christian home because I felt like my life would be normal. Also, most Nigerians have this perception of how Nigerian Muslims look and I guess I didn't fit their stereotype so people were always shocked and they would squeeze or frown their face in a weird way. So yeah, I started to pretend and hide my religion but then I became confused and lost and I was like “this isn't me”. I'm currently in university and I'm grateful for it because here you get to be your authentic self and there is a place of worship for all religions in Nigeria and I feel like not a lot of private universities in Nigeria embrace that. I'm now being my true self and currently trying to build my deen. You inspire me so so much Tomiwa and your highschool picture was beautiful 🤩. You look stunning in the hijab. It suits you so well 🫶. Thanks for this video ❤️. May the Almighty Allah bless you and your loved ones. Amin! ❤

It’s so crazy to me how someone could judge you from this video bc all I see from this video is someone who is trying. Someone who wanted to find God and truly found him. You seem so at peace with your decision to actually pursue a meaningful relationship with him and that’s so happy to see. Although I’m a Christian, this video still resonated with me because I recently started taking my relationship with God more seriously starting last year too! I loved what you said about God having to break you down from everything that you know in order to really build you up with the things he wants for you. I pray that God continues to protect you and give you his perfect peace because he really is using you in order to draw more people to him. Keep it up Tomiwa!!! Tomiwa! You literally just narrated my life story, Subhanallah! Especially the heartbreak part. Just like you,I quickly realised how and why Allah made the things that are haram, haram because that relationship EMOTIONALLY DRAINED me. Allah loves me, He loves US and that’s why he let our hearts shattered so much so that He can rebuild it for us.I was depressed. I tried therapy, yoga and every other wellness program to ease my heart but NOTHING worked. Wallahi, God is good because once I decided to let go of all other options, turned to Him, cried my heart out in every sujood during salah, made him the core of my existence, EVERYTHING transformed for the better in my life. Allah does listen and He sure runs towards us once we take few steps towards Him. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story with us. Love you loads❤️

Such a beautiful vlog. Absolutely loved it. Thank you for sharing your story with us. May Allah continue to guide us all. I am so glad that I came across your channel. I am also so glad that lots of hijabis are making content. It’s nice to see others that are like you on social media. I absolutely love being a KZitemr and making videos😊 I hope that our videos help out others that need it.

Subhanallah you spoke to my heart, sis. I was in an almost same position only a few months ago. I had no one to turn to but Allah and within a year Allah answered all of my du’a.
