I don't understand if you're putting up flags to celebrate sexuality why wouldn't you allow a straight pride flag

This is awesome. Either display the straight pride flag or take down the trans pride flags.

People have a right to leave their house without being forced to consider how gay sex fits within the context of their current situation. This right supersedes the right of people to force you to think about gay sex in any situation. They used to say the LGBT thing was about consenting adults doing unspeakable things to each other in the privacy of their bedroom. Turns out, it’s actually about nullifying your state constitution and forcing you to think about gay sex and gender bending pronouns with huge flags.

As long as they don’t mess up on some dumb procedural note, this case will absolutely succeed. I’m surprised we haven’t seen more of these sooner. As soon as the government has ruled that it is okay to publicly discussion your position on sexuality, they are now no longer allowed to take sides.

The only flags appropriate to be in schools are, the flag of the United States and the state flag. Flown in accordance with the rules. Period..

He is correct! 😂 It's well established case law that children do not give up their rights at the school door! Knowing this, why does the district not simply just allow the flag? Why must they make their taxpayers pay money for no reason?

I came up with a red and white heterosexual flag. red means blood and flesh - the feminine principle (because a woman brings us into this world) and white - a symbol of male seed. simple and beautiful, Just as Mother Nature intended.

I am a parent, and I really have a normal question. I understand that sexual minorities have been disadvantaged for many years and so on... but why now just put this into all the cracks? as if nothing else exists, Well, deal with it already. Live in peace. Let's live differently.

Wrong - To the claim that displaying a flag is discriminatory when it represents a different group’s sexual orientation or gender identity, “Plaintiffs offer no legal support for their argument,” the judge wrote, “and the Court finds none.” Case closed. Maybe you can better understand it this way: "I'm straight. I like being straight. A big reason I like being straight is that I've never once experienced bigotry for my sexuality. I didn't have to fight for my right to marry the person of my choosing. I didn't have to concern myself with being beaten or killed because others didn't accept who I wanted to sleep with. I didn't have to stay closeted out of fear or worry about the reaction of my family, friends, or colleagues by coming out. I never got called a slur for being straight. No one told me I'm going to burn in hell for being straight. There aren't any programs where I could be sent to be tortured into no longer being straight. There aren't any countries where you can be put to death simply for being straight. There is nothing I ever had to fight for or struggle against because I'm straight. And therefore, there isn't any reason to take pride in it. Grateful for the privileges I get? Sure. But pride? I don't see it."

The point of the LGBTQIA+ flag is about support. Support of people who are different from the majority of others who identify as straight. Straight people often bully, target, verbally abuse and are violent towards those who identify as LGBTQIA+... If this person is a teacher, administrator or other professional straight kids would go to for protection or guidance because they've been suffering these same kinds of abuse, then I'd say ok to this so-called straight pride flag. I've never heard of or seen such abuses against straight people in schools or elsewhere though. I don't get why some people think it's ok to treat ANYONE in an abusive way. I don't care what another person's sexual orientation is or how they identify because it doesn't harm me or impact my life in any way. If people are concerned about others spiritual and faith well-being, the ONLY thing they should be doing is praying for them. If they believe in the God I know (and most Christians claim to know,) then they also know God has the final say. He gave us free will and some basic life rules. If people CHOOSE not to follow those rules, then let God handle them. (Obviously, the rules that are broken and effect public safety have to be dealt with by the public.)

The first problem is that your go-to defense of your position is that this is about straight people bullying the alphabets, and that straight people are never subjected to bullying. The person filing the suit is a parent, BTW.

@@SpartacusColo You do or should realize that being LGBT+ heightens the bullying. No one ever said all kids aren't bullied, but there are gay and straight kids that are bullied more because people think they are LGBT+. This necessary distinction is already recognized in the law and that is why there are hate crime laws. The law recognizes bias-motivated crimes and that being bullied (everyone falls in this category) and being bullied specifically because someone is *perceived* to be LGBT+ is different.

@@TanukiOfficial What do hate crimes have to do with this conversation? Is wanting to fly a "straight pride" flag a hate crime? Help me understand. It's funny how those three White men were bullied out of becoming chief of police over here in Aurora: A mob of Black people protested in front of Town Hall, but you folks scream that the straight White people are mobilizing to beat up the gay kids because we're all tired of having rainbow flags thrown in our faces.

You brought God into the argument in an attempt to direct believers, allow me to quote scripture to correct you: The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance (2 Timothy 2:24-25) Scripture does not teach us to ignore sin, it teaches us to admonish gently. There is a distinction. Regarding free will, it's a common misconception that free will involves making multiple choices each day. Free will refers to exactly one choice, the only choice that anyone can ever make. Will you follow God or rebel? "I [God] have set before you life and death, blessing and curse: therefore choose life" (Deuteronomy 30:19) It is a monotheist's duty to persuade against sin. To do otherwise is to rebel against God, as God instructed us to admonish. There is no verse of scripture that says "live and let live".

@PinealisGlandia You forgot a few scriptures: ▪︎ *Matthew 7:1-2:* "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you." ▪︎ *Romans 2:1:* "You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things." ▪︎ *James 4:11-12:* "Do not speak evil against one another, brothers and sisters. Whoever speaks evil against another or judges their brother or sister speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge." ▪︎ *Luke 6:41-42 (NIV):* “Why do you look at the speck of dust in your brother’s eye and fail to notice the beam in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the beam in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” We are all born of original sin. All of us. All sin is the same and that is why we should not judge each other. Jesus warns that those who judge others will not receive a reward from God. *(Matthew 6:1)* God is the ONLY judge, and we are to be Christ-like and not God-like because there is only one God (the Judge), and that is He.
