Just not in the countries where poor farmers depend on it being illegal so they can sell it for a price high enough to feed their children and village . Big corporations will move in and take over, leaving the farmers unable to compete :( its the sad reality. Other things need to change before marijuana prohibition does. Marijuana is not the root cause, it’s the people in charge of the governments. Corruption. No one believes marijuana is bad anymore . It’s all a show so that they can control it and have a decent sounding reason as to why .

I still can't believe Franco is gone. Rest in peace brother. Thank you for your life's work. You and Arjan have done so much to enhance the cannabis scene, both medically and adult use. I always admired all of his knowledge; especially being a connoisseur myself working in the industry with dreams of opening my own dispensary/rec shop in the U.S. here. That is my goal. My dream. My drive. My determination. And Franco, not to mention Arjan of course! They are a few of my heroes, role-models, and inspiration for my own drive. I hope I'm able to meet Arjun one day! That would be a DREAM COME TRUE. So much to learn! Franco, thank you for all that you taught us. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. Like you, Cannabis was my world. It is a part of me; it is my home and my love, as Franco so eloquently put it. What I wouldn't give to have Arjan as a mentor in my life. No amount of money could ever pay for that experience. Thanks for the great videos, Arjan! Rest in Peace, Franco. May you live forever among the heavenly billowy clouds of cannabis smoke in the sky. Every time a puff is taken, Franco lives on. God bless and keep you both safe. Your BIGGEST and GREATEST fan across the pond: Most sincerely and respectfully, Mark Bauer (New Jersey, United States)

I've always wondered what the good stuff I saw on special occasions in the 90s was, we didn't really have names back then. I had the Mexican brick like most people but every once in a while you'd come across someone with something seedless and exotic, it was primarily around Deadheads for me. I love the gourmet flowers we have today but I would love to sample these simpler, outdoor landrace strains from around the world. I suspect they are similar to those old school Dead parking lot strains.

I'm from Northern Ontario. Love the people of Jamaica, especially the lot that have farms up the mountains in the bush. Reminds me a bit of home. Since marijuana is legal in Canada mom and pop grower operations just exist like moonshine stills- to package up novelty gifts and not much else.
