@@MegalithomaniaUK Archeologists tend to Date Structures, by the latest individuals that had a campfire there. DESTROYED, Megoliths, are often under 20 to 30 feet of clay; so obviously the more sediment above these sites would lead to the oldest Structures. I'm guessing this; [inner Layer site]: was the last Megolithic build, not the first.

In regard to Noahs Ark, I have always been fascinated with this site. So wonderful and the location really ties into the Old Testament accounts. However, I recently watched the newest video (dec. 14, 2023) by Myron Cook here on YT, it is about a rock formation in Wyoming (I think it is the Morrison and Cloverlake formation--check 6:15 in that video) that looks almost identical to this. He explains how the ground was split and folded over. I encourage everyone who is interested in the Noahs Ark monument to review this video as it really sealed the deal for me as a natural formation. anyhoo, I am a big megalithomaniac, and love your work Hugh!!

It's extremely important to notice two things when considering Göpekli Tepe: 1) that 95% of the site remains deliberately unexcavated. how can one possibly estimate the age or the purpose of the site, if we have only ever seen 5% of it? and the fact that despite of it being the oldest megalithic site in the wolrd the archaeologists just refuse to dig the site prove an agenda to keep the secrets of the site hidden. there' simply no other reason. and yet they insist they know when it was built and by what level of civilization based on that mere 5% which already contradict their idea. 2) the two distinctly different construction styles present at the site: the massive megalithic building style with the protruding animal carvings, and the distinctly primitive small round block style which the walls are built with. there's exactly zero reason to assume these two styles were built at the same time or by the same people, or by a same level civilization. return back to number 1).
@MegalithomaniaUK

Both very good points. According to archaeologist they dated items under the walls on the bedrock, so the lowest levels. But, with your second point in mind, it does seem to be two phases so your idea could be completely correct. Only time will tell. Why they keep most of the site un-excavated and with no access is a mystery. Klaus Schmidt stated that he thought they'd find evidence of it being up to 14,000 years old (he told us directly on-site this in 2013)
@Eye_Exist
9 ай бұрын
@@MegalithomaniaUK it's also important to remember that the excavations were already going when Schmidt passed away, so it actually took effort to stop them, which completely invalidates the argument that the site isn't being excavated because it takes time and effort to plan and organize them. the other argument they make is that the lack of excavation is to "preserve" the site, which is also nonsense because the only way to know what we are preserving is to excavate the site. it's not preservation if it's "preserving" from everyone, including the science, to see.
@Eye_Exist
9 ай бұрын
@@MegalithomaniaUK And I must say I highly doubt they have excavated under the megaliths. the chances of hitting a dateable human trace aren't so high it wouldn't require them to dislocate every pillar just to find something, and we don't see that ever having happened. or have you ever seen or heard anything like that? it sounds like something they say just to make it appear hey aren't trying to hide its real age and origin. which is ironic considering they are sitting on the top of literally 95% of the site still unexcavated.

Enclosure AB was a heated pool. Part of the floor is still visible in top of the pillar near the face. Archeological drawings from when they were excavated showed there were a lot of large flat stones that would have spanned all the pillars to create the floor of the pool.

@@MegalithomaniaUK I'm pretty sure archeologists have already identified the enclosure immediately uphill from it was a spring. There is a drainage path from it to the high side of AB. So there was a cold pool and a hot or at least warm pool. The Romans had to get the idea of heated floors from somewhere.

@@thomasnewcomb2079 Please provide the report about the spring because according to the locals, and our research, the closest natural water source is about 10 miles away, with the main spring 30 miles away at Sogmatar Oasis. @@MegalithomaniaUK I'll have to dig up the source, but keep in mind we're talking about more than 10,000 years ago. The climate was a lot different and Karahan Tepe supported a large population. They had to have had a water source.

@@thomasnewcomb2079 Please find that source regarding springs at Karahan Tepe. There is also no evidence that it supported a large population, as the Tektek Mountains have always been dry even at the time of Karahan Tepe (it was slightly warmer and slightly wetter, but not that much). It is more likely it was used as certain times of year and used water collected in cisterns and pools. They probably lived at settlements near rivers and streams like Nevali Cori, Yemenhale, Cayonu, Ayanlar Hoyuk etc.

31:55 that floor is not the floor. That’s all rubble that most likely got washed in there. The tunnel isn’t getting smaller, the whole tunnel is arcing down after a point and the rubble is piling forming blockages. These were never meant for anyone to see the inside of. These were purely functional. There are several. They are like vents or something. They are incalculably old.

Why would they create beautiful art on these huge stone pillars and then cover it up with gravel/dirt walls? To me that means that the pillars were already there long before the walls were ever built. So humans built those...when and why? I mean one could argue that the drawings are a warning of the dryas impact...

"To us, the ark of salvation seems to represent the geographical location where the chosen ones gather when the great perturbation is near, rather than a boat hand-built by man." "Consequently, in spite of its apparent universality, in spite of the terrifying and long intermixing of the raging elements, we are certain that the huge catastrophe will not equally impact all places nor the expanse of all continents and seas. Certain privileged countries, as genuine Arks of rock, will shelter men who will have taken refuge there. There for one day, lasting two centuries, generations will watch - anxious witnesses of the effects of divine power - the gigantic duel between water and fire; there, in a relative calmness, at an equal temperature, in the pale and even light of a low ceiling of clouds, the chosen people will wait for peace to come and for the last clouds, dispersed by the breath of the golden age, to uncover the multicolored magic of a double rainbow, the brightness of new skies and the charm of a new earth."
