I know right!? There's an actor in the scene where the two young lab workers were in a break area and one was using a ruler to flip syringes into the ceiling tiles(5:23). The one who was coming at him and eventually ended up having to go into the locker("escape pod"), looks a hell of a lot light Colbert. I checked the description for a cast listing but I couldn't find one I wonder if it is his son?

In a way I was right LOL because I kept looking at him going,"man that dude's face looks just like Stephen Colbert" but when Colbert wears the eyeglasses as the other character it gives it that Clark Kent effect and it kind of threw me.👍

god I remember watching this show when it was on Comedy Central. And heard about it from a friends sister who was a prostitute. She said 'you watch Strangers with Candy don't you?' And I said "whats that?" she replied 'oh a tv show you would like'. And god bless that hooker with the heart of gold I watched it and still love it. I always thought the dancing at the end of every episode was great energy to end with. I wish they did more than 3 seasons. You could not put a show like this on tv today its too non PC and with the 'cancel culture' we live in it wouldnt last a week. SWC forever!!

This was a fun show I'm surprised that it only lasted three seasons. I'm glad they actually made a movie. I think it was called" Strangers with Candy" as well, it was hilarious, I think it's on Tubi

I absolutely love SWC. I got all the seasons on disc years ago. It killed me that it didn’t continue past 3 seasons.

I didn’t know about the movie until years later around 2011 when I was looking for the show on KZitem cause I randomly remembered it and wanted to revisit it and introduce it to my girlfriend at the time. I was surprised to see I somehow completely missed that they made a movie along with the show
