Excellent channel. I just subbed. What potting mix would you recommend for the fabric pots? I just bought a package of 10 and plan on growing some peppers here in central florida! Thanks so much!

Thank you very much! It is funny that you mentioned peppers as I plan to try to grow some of those in my hanging pots too. My plan is to use breathable soil that won’t get compacted very easy, but will hold moisture well. That is a tall ask in most scenerios, but something peat of coconut coir based should work. Perlite and Vermiculite should help a little with the compaction. Hopefully the one you pick has a little of either of those in there. I will probably go with Black Gold organic or Burpee organic if I can find it. The last thing to keep in mind is the shape of these makes them dry out really quickly, so daily or even multi-daily waterings may be needed. That watering will be interesting since you don’t want to overwater peppers. I plan to grow Cayenne, what about you?

@@PorchGardeningWithPassion Sounds awesome. Excellent information. I am going to grow some cayenne and datil hot peppers for making hot sauce. I am making a drip irrigation system next weekend. I’ve watched almost all of your videos and they inspired my wife and kids and I!
