This dessert will keep fresh for up to 3 days if refrigerated.
Ingredients for 6 x 6 oz (160 ml) dessert cups:
For the jelly:
Strawberry jelly - enough to make 1 pint (2.4 cups / 20 fluid ounces / 568 ml)
Boiling water - ½ pint (1.2 cups / 10 fluid ounces / 284 ml)
Cold water - ½ pint (1.2 cups / 10 fluid ounces / 284 ml)
For the custard:
Custard powder - 2 heaped tablespoons (35 grams)
Granulated sugar - 2 tablespoons (⅛ cup / 0.9 ounce / 25 grams)
Milk (any type) - 1 pint (2.4 cups / 20 fluid ounces / 568 ml)
For the cream topping:
Whipping cream - ⅓ pint (⅚ cups / 7 fluid ounces / 200 ml)
Granulated sugar - 2 tablespoons (⅛ cup / 0.9 ounce / 25 grams)
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
To garnish:
3 strawberries cut in half
