@juliedziurany If you'd like the muffins to be larger, you could always put more batter in each of the wells. You'd probably get 8-10 muffins that was, instead of 12. Also, make sure that you add more time for baking. -Cindy

@harwoodpodcast HI I live in Melbourne Australia and this is a little cafe down the street from where I live, not sure why the muffis are so delicious but I'm definitely going down there early tomorrow moring to get a nice big one and I'll take a picture and send it through....I think it's a lot sweeter than the blueberry or the wild berry muffins they have as well. Also they give little butter sachets&it makes it taste nicer I guess

When muffins, scones and biscuits are over mixed, they become tough and heavy. In this recipe, I also want to make sure that the strawberries don't get too mixed....otherwise pink muffins! - Cindy

Thank you for sharing. Baked them today and I'm pretty happy with the result, especially because the strawberry pieces evenly spread throughout the dough and did not sink down to the bottom, unlike in some other recipes I had tried. Thanks again.

@juliedziurany One other thought: Make sure your baking powder is fresh. If it's past it's prime, the muffins won't puff up as much. It's that chemical reaction that makes the muffins rise. I'm wondering if that could be the size problem you're having. Because I bake so much, I always have fresh baking powder and theses muffins always turn out just like in the video. One other thing, make sure you have your oven pre-heated before putting them in to bake. -Cindy

@kaushilopez Great! Email the photo to me: Cindy(at symbol)HarwoodPodcast(dot)com. Also, while you're eating the muffin, try and taste what kind of flavors are in it. Vanilla? Lemon? Orange? Cinnamon?Also, does it have a crumble top? These are the kinds of things I use to help me design a recipe. Wish I could get to Melbourne and try one of these muffins, too! -Cindy

@SameehaButt You can replace the zest with essence, but if the essence is strong in flavor< i would use just a bit (maybe 1/4-1/2 teaspoon.) The orange flavor is meant to enhance the strawberry, not overshadow it. -Cindy

@ChococatLoveTwinz I'm using all-purpose in this recipe. If I'm using any other kind of flour (self-rising, cake, etc...) I always make sure to mention that...both in the video and in the recipe. -Cindy

i've made this recipe many times and it's always very appreciate by all my friends - they love it! My only problem is that my muffins don't really get big, they just stay small during the baking time and when they're done.
