Ingredients
To grind
150 grams strawberry
125 grams tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Required Salt
Pulse
3 garlic
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Temper
1/2 tablespoon ghee
1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
1/8 teaspoon omam
Curry leaves few
1 green chilli
Asafoetida
Rasam
1 cup +3/4 cup Water
1/4 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
Coriander leaves few
Freshly Crushed pepper
Instructions
Grind
firstly wash strawberries in a colander and discard the water
Add tomatoes, strawberry, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and required salt
Pulse ingredients
Take garlic, pepper, and cumin seeds in a mixie jar and pulse twice
To temper
Add ghee and turn on the stove on medium flame
when ghee is hot add mustard seeds,omam and fenugreek seeds; splutter
Add curry leaves, green chilli, and asafoetida; mix well
Prepare rasam
Add pulsed mixture and saute for 1 minutes
Furthermore, add tomato strawberry; boil
add water, coriander leaves, chilli powder; cook rasam for around 5 minutes on low-medium flame
When you see a frothy boil turn down to low flame
add freshly crushed pepper; mix well and turn off the stove
Finally add lemon juice and serve
