Loved Strawberry Switchblade & this song. This original version is awesome. Should be played on "forgotten 80s" radio show

Wish the official release (1985) had more guitar mixed in w the keyboards. These 2 were royally screwed by their so called record label.

I thought that while David Motion (producer of their album) crafted a great 1985 synth pop album with the girls, he went too far away from the basic (but wonderful) guitar sound heard here. There really is a 'remix' to be done; then, we'd not only have an even better 80s pop album but one of the best girl group albums ever.

personally I think this version has a more 70s vibe / influence to it but I wish they would have had some B sides and more albums overall and included their various versions / sessions

Wow. A "lost" song, and it wasn't that bad. It's unfortunate that they didn't find a different tune for it so they could issue both.

Love this version, did this Jensen session ever come out officially? I would love to have it and the other songs, he usually got them to do 3-4 tracks in a session.
Although they look cute and pretty. Like many Glaswegian girls in the 80s, they were only 3ft and 4ft tall respectively and both smelt dreadfully of Budgerigar poo and Sardines. This is what really held them back and if you watch their live performance in Tokyo 1983 the audience can be seen vomiting and rushing for the exits. Jill went on to play the post box in the long running Scottish play Kilts and Cabers, while Rose currently runs a home for elderly and incontinent Swedish Satanist in her home town of Scotland. They regularly appear together as a 'Crankies' tribute act where they sing their old songs and juggle a bit.
