Is there a solution to locking the autofocus when livestreaming on KZitem from your iphone? Do I need a camera app and is there a free one?
@ChrisSpiegl
3 жыл бұрын
Hello Heather, I don’t know any apps that can stream direct to KZitem and do manual focus. Other solutions would be to stream your iPhone camera to a computer and then go live from there. Apps that can do manual focus and stream the camera signal to your computer would be obs.camera or alternatively FilmicPro and getting a HDMI cable and a capture card (total cost of the last one - which I think is the most quality - would be around 50-80$). great video but there is still one question. You talked about the wireless rode microphones.. do I have to select something to make them work or do I have to connect just the main component to my phone and the mic to the main component ? I tryed to record something with the normal camera and everything was fine instant but as I tryed to make a voice message via whatsapp the mic wasnt accepted. Best regards
@ChrisSpiegl
6 ай бұрын
This highly depends on which mic you use and how you connect things. The best thing to make sure your specific setup works is to actually test it and make a private stream so you can test which mic is active. Generally, the same way the Camera app recognizes your wireless mic it should be recognized in the streaming app. But can only be sure when you test - especially since things have further developed since making this video.

Is it possible to live stream with a hot spot and do walkarounds in a brewery (for example). I've been trying using a Google PIxel 2XL, Nighthawk hotspot with AT&T. However the phone gets pretty hot and the frame rate is too low and there's lots of pixelization. Any thoughts?

Chris is there anyway to set autofocus or white balance on KZitem livestreaming straight from the Iphone? I find the quality would be improved 100 fold if i could just set the white balance!
@ChrisSpiegl
3 жыл бұрын
I have not seen an app that can directly stream to KZitem or any other streaming app where you can also set the white balance in that app. However, if you can use a Mac / PC for streaming you could use OBS.camera on your iPhone and connect via NDI to OBS on the computer and the app OBS.camera actually allows for manual focus and exposure settings (however, as far as I can see the app does not offer white balance settings). Maybe you could write the developers about that and they could add it as a feature. Good luck and happy streaming 🌸.

Hi Usnia, I quickly looked that info up and in the following article may be your answer: > For 1080p video at 60 frames per second, the bitrate range is 4,500 to 9,000 kbps. In upload speeds, that means between 5.6 Mbps and 11 Mbps. > ~ restream.io/blog/what-is-a-good-upload-speed-for-streaming/ Additionally, you will want to measure your speed with a site like speedtest.net so you know your upload and download speed accurately. I have a live performance that I want to stream and I’m wondering if I can get that link ahead of time to the people that have purchased tickets? So the stream is private but only for those people that paid and I want them to view it at the time I go live tonight. Is this possible?
@ChrisSpiegl
3 жыл бұрын
In principle you could do this with so-called "Unlisted" streams. Not private because with private streams you have to invite each person individually. Unlisted streams are only accessible via the link you generate and not shared publicly on KZitem for example. You can create such an event in the KZitem Studio studio.youtube.com and then to the upper right hand side you have a button to create a live stream. There you can create the live stream and set it to be "unlisted" and then you can hit the share button or something like that and get a link that you can then send to your clients. Hope that helps and good luck.
