Have y’all ever thought of using spirulina for plants ?

People in specific microclimates should use genes from local resistant weeds to create crops that are just as resistant to the local weeds. Why not have plants that have the same drought resistant, heat resistant and pest resistance as wild native weeds. This is how we should genetically modify our crops. We need to make them like weeds

I think we should genetically modify with climate specific wild genes and also do radiation mutagenesis on those plants as well as selective breeding. We can also breed mutagenesis and crispr strains with none gmo heirloom strains to create superiorly bio diverse crops. We can create monster crops. They should grown in a biodynamic way preferably organic. That is until I find none organic methods I believe are trustworthy. We can also give plants animal derived platelet rich plasma injection as well use magnets mixed into grow media as well as find out which specific pure tone frequencies can be useful good for growth and catalyzing flowering because there are frequencies that can do just that. We can also transfer PEMF of substances from an infopathy device on to water fed to plants. We can also use plant derived chemicals “phytochemicals” for the growth enhancement of plants. And as for bioaccumulate mediation we can use biochar. Gherlin derived from prune juice might function as an auxin in plants also.

Maybe we can rewild the domestically grown crops with the genes of wild crops.

Disappointed. Such an interesting subject presented in such boring way with the same phrase repeated over and over again. Shirley's part was a bit more engaging, but still not at the University level video. I hope you will not find my comment offending, but rather as a signal to review this video and improve it.

Thanks for the comment. Just as background, this video was produced by an undergraduate student as part of a class assignment, learning how to use multimedia.

Thank you for clarifying - student did a good job, I don't see any issues with the recording or use of multimedia. I was disappointed at the content: how people in the video described their work. They made it boring, not a student who gave them an opportunity to represent the University.
