INGREDIENTS For RAGDA
• Oil - As per your need
• Cumin Seed - 1 TSP
• Pepper Corn - ½ TSP
• Ginger - 1 Inch
• Garlic - 5 Cloves
• Green Chilli - 2 No’s
• Onion - 2 No’s (Sliced)
• Tomato - 2 No’s (Sliced)
• Salt - As per your taste
• Turmeric Powder - ½ TSP
• Red Chilli Powder - ½ TSP
• Coriander Powder - ½ TSP
• Asafoetida Powder - ½ TSP
• Peas - 1 Cup
• Boiled Potato - 1 NO
• Water - As per your need
INGREDIENTS FOR ALOO TIKKI
• Potato - 3 NO’s (boiled & mashed)
• Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 TSP
• Salt - As per your taste
• Cumin Powder - 1/2 TSP
• Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 TSP
• Turmeric Powder - 1/2 TSP
• Onion - 1 NO (Finely Chopped)
• Coriander Leaves - Handful (Finely Chopped)
• White Peas - 1 Cup (Soaked overnight)
• Bread Crumbs - 1 Cup
• Corn Flour - 1/4 Cup
• Oil - As per your need
INGREDIENTS FOR CHAAT
• Prepared Masala - 1 Cup
• Aloo Tikki - 4 No’s
• Tamarind Chutney - 1 TSP
• Green Chutney - 1 TSP
• Onion - For Garnish
• Coriander Leaves - For Garnish
• Sev - For Garnish
Preparation Method:
1. Take a cooker and add Peas 1 Cup.
2. And add chopped Boiled Potato 1 No.
3. Then add Water as per your need.
4. And pressure cook for 2 whistles.
5. Then mash the peas and potato slightly and keep it aside.
6. Take a kadai and add Oil as per your need.
7. Then add Cumin seed 1 TSP & add Pepper Corn ½ TSP.
8. Then add Ginger 1 Inch & add Garlic 5 Cloves & mix it.
9. And add oil & Green Chilli 2 No’s.
10. Then add Onion 2 No’s (Sliced) & add Tomato 2 No’s (Sliced) and mix it well.
11. Then add Cashew nuts half cup and mix it well.
12. Then add Salt as per your taste & add Turmeric Powder ½ TSP.
13. Then add Red Chilli Powder ½ TSP & and Coriander Powder ½ TSP.
14. Then add Asafoetida Powder ½ TSP and mix it well.
15. After the mixture cool down blend it to make masala paste.
16. Take a kadai and add Oil as per your need.
17. And Prepared Masala 1 Cup and mix it well.
18. Cover and simmer for few minutes.
19. Then add the Prepared Vegetable Mixture 1 Cup and mix it well.
20. Add Salt as per your taste and add Turmeric Powder 1/2 TSP and add Red Chilli Powder 1/2 TSP.
21. And add Coriander Powder 1/2 TSP and add Chat Masala 1/2 TSP and mix it well for few minutes and keep it aside.
22. Take a bowl and add Potato 3 NO’s (boiled & mashed) and add Ginger Garlic Paste 1 TSP and add Salt as per your taste.
23. Cumin Powder 1/2 TSP and add Red Chilli Powder 1/2 TSP and add Turmeric Powder - 1/2 TSP and add Onion 1 NO (Finely Chopped).
24. add Coriander Leaves Handful (Finely Chopped) and mix it well and add White Peas 1 Cup (Soaked overnight) and mix it well.
25. Add Bread Crumbs 1 Cup and add Corn Flour 1/4 Cup and add Oil as per your need and mix it well to make Aloo Tikki or Patties.
26. Take a pan and add oil and add Aloo Tikki and deep fry it till it reaches golden brown colour on both the sides.
27. To a serving plate add prepared Masala 1 Cup & add Aloo Tikki 4 No’s add Tamarind Chutney 1 TSP & add Green Chutney 1 TSP & (add Onion & add Coriander Leaves & add Sev) - For Garnish.
28. Ragda Patties is ready serve.
