Thanks a lot for the compliment :^). I used a tank rucksack on top of the tank, filled it with towels to dampen some of the vibrations (though not all). The microphone is inside the rucksack. Standard Nikon lens no VR. I tried to put a link to a photo of the set-up, but wasn't successful. Here again " flickr com photos dapsul 7709482520 " with the slashes replaced by spaces. Cheers

Hello, I took my 1965 R27 for a spin around town just recently. Enjoyed it immensely, nevertheless riding my R69S few days before I was under impression the R27 is sooo slow. I was able to do 45-50 mph max. How fast would your bike go?

Dear dappsull, great video clip. The quality from sound and movie is exemplary. What have you done that there is no vibration from the motorcycle to see? Have you used a objective with VR? A original Nikon objective? And where is the place of your microphone? Thank you for your efforts. Regards Flooster83

There could be so many reasons. Does the fuel get into the carburetor? Is the carburetor clean? Do you get a good spark? Maybe there is a loose wire somewhere? Difficult to analyse at a distance. You might want to join the forum: bmw-einzylinder.de/forum/index.php?board=6.0

@@errm1913 I see. Maybe a difference between the R27 and the R75. With the R27 you don't want to kick down too hard against the lower stop-point to avoid breaking the lever, snap back is more easy on the material. But, alas, at some point in time the lever gives anyway: www.flickr.com/photos/dapsul/32913644935/
