i just brought this new StreetWalker Rolling Backpack V2.0 and i am glad to got it as i used to have my shoulder bag for over 28 years and having to carry all my camera gear on my shoulder bag gave me lots of pains and so on so it was time for me to start a fresh page

Best for locations when you are happily rolling around 40 pounds of gear and then suddenly you need to take the stairs to the 6th floor. Happened to me few times, industrial areas, lighthouses, etc.

I got rid of my long-serving LowePro _PhotoTrekker AW_ backpack in preference to this Think Tank bag, which I purchased in New York City. (I went to the B&H Super Store at 420 Ninth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.) Both bags have similar load capacity, but the Think Tank seems like a more modern design, and the LowePro doesn't have wheels, although both bags comply with airline 'carry on' size dimensions. Critically, I need a backpack that will store my tripod *_inside_* the bag. (I use the aluminum Manfrotto Art. 190b tripod with the center column _removed._ The tripod is then in _two_ parts - legs, and column with tripod head.) For safety and security reasons on some assignments, I do *_not_* want to look like a photographer lugging professional camera gear. So, with everything discretely hidden inside this backpack, it looks just like any other roller bag on the streets of New York City. Good stuff, Think Tank manufacturers! Two quick issues: yesterday in Central Park in Manhattan, I was rolling the bag when an intense thunderstorm struck. I did not have the rain cover for this bag with me. So, has the bag's exterior been treated with ScotchGard or some other water repellant? Is it safe to treat the bag with a coating of ScotchGard? Secondly, the retractible aluminum handle on this Think Tank is oftentimes difficult to lift out of its storage space on the back of the bag. Just a heads-up. Apart from that, I like the product and use it every day.

Well made video as all the others on the website. Do you plan to release it in other colors? Such as dark/light green or brown/sand combo? Secondly, on your website I was surprised to see it got the cable lock feature too. Still, you did not mention it. Could you confirm the specs are correct? Many thanks

hey guys from think tank, are you guys planning to update your Think Tank Advantage? i have a sony mirrorless camera with 100-400mm and it looks to me that my gear is not swallowed in this kind of model as it is shallow. i just dont like the laptop holder style. sorry being selfish^^

What is the difference compared to Think Tank Photo Airport TakeOff V2.0 Rolling Camera Bag?
@ThinkTankPhoto
7 жыл бұрын
The TakeOff his a little more structure to it, weighs a little bit more and is more of a roller, where as the Streetwalker is a backpack first, so it's more comfortable on your back while still functioning very well as a roller. Hope that helps!

What about taking this on the plane? Doesn’t look like it will fit under seat?

Hi Lorraine, it will in most cases, yes. You need to check with your airline, but it is within cabin baggage size.

Will it fit on small CRJ domestic or regional plane over head storage?

It should do, yes. Always check your chosen airline's restrictions. (and pray that the ground crew are in a good mood on your chosen travel day!)
