You can mix moving and static exercises - you don't have to choose one or the other! Exact times depend on your goals, but aiming for around 30-60 total seconds can be a rule of thumb. For example, 6 sets of 6 second holds. Or 2 x 30-second holds. The harder the exercise, the more you'll need to space it out. Feel free to experiment! Have a wonderful day!

@@tesarthrospentax823 Pasta, cheese, nut butter, olive oil. As long as you're not allergic to any of those, add them to your diet and you'll easily increase your caloric intake. A teaspoon of peanut butter is around 100 calories.

I saw your how to do pushups video 2 years ago. I got serious about getting fit 6 months ago and i remembered your video so i started doing supported wall pushups and incline pushups on a platform ledge. I couldn't do a single pushup because i didn't have any strength. Today i can proudly say I do 21 regular pushups in one go with a proper form. And I also do variations now. Are there any replacements for the bridge and leg raise exercises that don't require lying on the back or having the head lower to the ground than the heart? I know this sounds weird probably but I get extreme, intense vertigo whenever I lie flat or dip my head like that, it's instant and very intense.

Principle of specificity. He's not really stronger than bigger guys (bodybuilders, powerlifters etc.), just more trained in certain movements/ exercises. I am sure his compound lifts for example would be relatively "mediocre" compared with those of the mentioned bigger guys.

never thought of it this way. core has different function than just to contract and relax unlike biceps and chest for example… so it makes sense to train it differently and not with just reps

You'd be surprised... the biceps also has a stabilising function. Stick your arm out straight, palms facing upward and hold any sort of weight in your hands. You'll feel your biceps. Many muscles in our body are involved in much more complex movement patterns than we think.

Love the short! Just wondering, could you make a video about how to incorporate isometrics into our routine? I want more grip and stability strength but I'm not sure as to how heavy the hold should be. Aka how many seconds until failure to see strength results. Thanks!

Good idea! You can put isometrics many places, but for pure strength, I'd do them before your workout. Short holds of 6-10 seconds so you can maintain high intensity in your sets. However, for things like grip, I'd train those after your regular pulling workout. For example, dead hangs from a bar after pull-ups!
