Massage Therapy helps to remove trigger points aka knots in your muscles. With PNF youre increasing ROM and flexibility however, if you have any "knot" in a muscle and your stretched wrong then you risk muscle injury as well as joint injury. I do PNF & Massage with client's & the combination is the maximum benefit to your body. PNF alone is very beneficial as you can see, but in my professional experience working with NFL & MLB athletes, that's my opinion. Glad PNF helped you. Sometimes you just dont have the right Therapist. A good therapist will add PNF to a session or recommend it esp if your having ROM issues and posture issues.

Did you try it Kurt? I would recommend telling them NOT to spend your precious time using that vibrator gun. I believe its a gadget that allows the flexologist to coast. It’s more massage than stretch. You want someone who gets the most positive done in the amount of time you spend there. That’s value. Also tell them you don’t want more than the minimum time spent doing the “assessment” with that screen gizmo. More time using blah blah blah. A real practitioner will quickly feel your limits and be able to explain how you should verbally communicate what you’re feeling. Again to be efficient with your time there. And the whole repeat assessment at the end is unnecessary. At least not more than occasionally like getting weighed. If you get a good stretch out, you’ll know it. You walk differently and feel lighter afterwards. I wouldn’t pay for massage but I would for a good stretch. It’s just way superior to massage.

I filmed this video at the beginning of March 2020. It was before we started locking everything down due to the virus. Stretch labs has some new systems in place. Check out their web site.

It's a rip-off IF you have the discipline and ability to stretch on your own. Not so much of a rip-off for people who don't stretch as they should or have limitations. If you don't need the services, don't pay for it, simple as that....

I think it's genius due to the looming loneliness epidemic coupled with an increased percentage of people working from home at a desk with tight muscle. Good release of endorphins. Brilliant!
