We often get so caught up in new products and techniques that we forget about the old tried and true that we all began with. Thanks for urging us to use what we already have. Your cards are beautiful, and everything was so well explained. Thank you Juliana!

I am a fairly new to the "Tim Holtz" craft world. You teach these skills so well. I have had a blast ink smashing, die cutting, using all the stencils and stamps I have purchased to create backgrounds. But hands down, your lessons on layering the distress inks by letting g them dry is the best. my next fav technique is how you do the edges, that took my pieces to the next level giving them such an awesome finished look. I use mine in my junk journals which I think are more art journals at this point. Thank you.

Those are really pretty. I love seeing a feminine version of what I think of as a grunge style. For some reason, I feel these versions are a little less intimidating to attempt than the more moody grunge cards that I love.
@JulianaMichaels

Thanks for sharing! I think you could achieve a more moody effect if you switched up the colors and used some browns and blacks.

Thank you (both) for the inspiration and the detailed explanation. It's great to see new ways to use your existing supplies. I'm mad about my Floral Trims stamp but I hadn't thought to use it as a background so a huge thank you for that!

I used the Tim Holtz Vintage Labels die set - ldli.co/e/4319ex5 - I accidentally left them off my supply list and you are the first person to ask about them. I've just added them, so thank you. For the paper I used the Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor paper. I pretty much use this paper for everything.
