!!! Chris's Greek Speak is awesome. I love learning new things from both of your real-life experiences. I started playing at 60 yrs old. I don't have time to learn this stuff by trial and error. 😅 THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE KNOWLEDGE.

On the comment about guitar strap attachment, I think the wide end attaches to the top pin so the wide end is what rests on your shoulder. The wide end distributes the weight of the guitar over a larger area, which makes it easier on your shoulder!

I have a Fishman loudbox Mini 2011 I am not a big time performer but in fact I'm more a front porch picker but I do love mic'd up acoustic every once in awhile and man that thing sounds so incredible matter of fact if you don't even use it to play guitar through and you just play an MP3 through it your music will sound incredible

Alvarez Laureates are Sitka braced, hand finished. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. The ebony used is to me the most striking aspect of these instruments.

J P got me into acoustic guitars via the Inspired by Gibson routine. I kicked off when I was 13 on a cheap Spanish guitar with an electric in my sights then I got a Ricky copy then I progressed in quality but never another acoustic in mind until an Ibanez 12 stringer when I was 21. Now I'm 70 with a string of electric guitars in my wake dig? A couple of years ago I was seduced by acoustic guitars after JP 'S video caught my attention. Still got a bunch of electric guitars but I now have an Epiphone Firebird a Sigma Jumbo a Yamaha Spanish, a Fender 12 and a Dobro for slide. Thanks JP.

I'm a huge Yamaha fan. Have a LS16M. Great guitar, fabulous value. So glad to hear you talk about Alvarez Laureate! I've been enamored but hearing you play it and speaking of it sealed the deal.

Are k&k and SGI one and the same or two different pickups? Loved the GEEK addition to your broadcast BTW. Thanks

They are similar design, but absolutely different. The K&K Pure Mini is just as the name states: PURE. You will not get a more natural sound than with the K&K Pure Mini. The SGI also sounds great, but it's a fatter tone.
