Me an the cat fish were talking and he said that he wants a bigger cave with nice flat rocks. I asked him if he wanted his food in a silver or gold plater. He's not answering my calls anymor, so.

Awesome tank and fish! What you can do take care of your algae problem is to stock your tank with pond snails and take your loaches out. Then, bring the loaches back (temporarily) to cut down the snail population every two months.

I have Raphael cat, has to be 14 or 15 years old now. About 6 1/2" long. We call him "Big Fish", from the movie. Lives in a 10 gallon tank with a few khuli loaches that are about the same age. He swims around quite a bit, especially when someone comes into the room. Seems to be very social. When he's not out swimming he's under a rock shelf or he likes to stand on his nose next to the waster heater. Shark like is exactly how I'd describe his swinging. A ver powerful swimmer. When he gets going he can hit the lid on the tank hard enough to lift it. Don't have room for a bigger tank, so really I can't add more fish to the tank because of his size.

You should put the Raphael catfish in a minimum of 30 gallons. I have two in my 55 gallon tank

Skyler Farlow don’t have room for a bigger tank or I would. When we bought him the shop said he’d get to be 2 or 3 “. Little did we know he’d by 6.5”. His size is what keeps me from adding more fish to the tank.

Albino bristlenose pleco, they don't get big, they look great and unusual and should take care of algae. My favorite aquatic plants are java moss and Water Lettuce.

For hair algae you can use c02, flourish excel, or I will spray hydrogen peroxide on stuff when I clean and lower tank level. Number one fish to eat hair algae or black beard algae is siamese algae eater. Get a few of them and they will clean it up no problem. Do not get flying fox. They are often mislabeled and look almost identical.

With the hydrogen peroxide you can also pull out any plants or decoration covered in algae. Then spray it and let dry. Put back in tank and algae will die off. Hydrogen peroxide does not hurt fish or water quality.

H2O2 will kill your fish very quickly if you don't know what you're doing with it. It's dangerous even in small doses. Too much exposure will kill plants too.

Dan Hiteshew too much of anything is bad but I had a bad out break of black beard algae. It's under control now but I sprayed h202 on some plants and rocks I pulled out. Let it dry and then put back in. It turned purple and died while the fish were eating it. All gone. I learned the technique from a few online fish keepers including aquarium Co OP and mass aquariums. I also fixed the root of the problem

But I don’t want my catfish to get hurt or the stingray tries to eat it and dies or gets hurt. So what is the growth rate of these striped Raphael catfish cause when I did research on them their growth rate was not on their. Plz help.
