Although the music was a little too loud and distracting, I found this very helpful thank you.

Why do you use the large see through modifier not as a see through?

I know that flash light can be dangerous for infants eyes ... is it also a concern in your photos ? Also, how can we get around flash light if we want to avoid it ?

I noticed you were shooting with a speedlight in your video..is a speedlight enough power to light up a 7' umbrella? I was told no and bought a 56" and now wish i had a bit more wrap around light

You can use a speedlight with a 7 ft umbrella such as the Westcott 7' Umbrella (White Diffusion) as long as you bring it closer to the subject.

Have you ever heard of Newborns having issues with seizures after using strobe photography? England requires disclaimers for flash photography and seizures.

I think it depends on how strong or how much power you dial in on your strobe. I would diffuse the light source and shoot for a short time. But to cap it I tend to avoid newborns.

Great question! The way I use my lights creates a vey soft pop of light. Most of the babies/kids/adults I work with don't even notice it. I'm also not a rapid fire photographer... I shoot film, so I shoot slow! Which means the flash isn't firing rapidly either. Hope that helps!
