What really gets me is that Homestar doesn't know the context of Bubs saying 296. So he didn't know that that was the number of bricks on one of his walls. He was just impressed by the sheer size of the number.

1:25 Fun Fact,Bubs was 16 bricks away from counting that entire wall..if you measure the bricks out that are visible you will see that the brick count is 11 across by 24 down which makes Bubs,strongbad and everyone else short ...the standard brick including mortar all around is approx. 3 1/4" height × 24 = which is 6 ft 6 inches. now think about how many times you've seen all of them at Bub's concession stand like now..there only a little over halfway up which means they are probably im n the area of 4 ft tall...now unless you take into account having some kind of basement..with the side wall dimensions being 7 1/3 '(the length of the average bricks with mortar are 8" multiply by 11) and the height being 6 1/2' that makes Bubs place pretty small width wise...which makes it impossible for him to sell the items he has sold in 130 emails at this point which also makes Bubs answer of 298 inaccurate..hows that for bordem....

@PyroRock814 You're not alone. "Tape-Leg" is considered to be one of the worst sbemails by a significant number of fans. Yeah, that's a good one." - unusually sassy Homestar to Strong Bad).

@negascoot23
3 жыл бұрын
If you wanted to be *really* technical, you could justify that by presuming he is including homonyms: "Use" can be two different words, as in: _"Do you know how to use that?_ As opposed to: _"I have no use for that"_ The former is a verb, the latter a noun. Same spelling, different words. Same with "Man": it can mean an adult human male, or to operate something (as in _"Man the controls"_ ) Two different words ☺️
