I work on an herb farm. The other day we were drying over 1,500 lbs of peppermint, and the drying shed was full of it's aroma. After spending an hour in there, I felt better than I had in a very very long time. It was without a doubt a cure for whatever mystery ailments I may have. My physical stamina doubled , my anxiety disappeared, and my perspective on everything became much cheerier. The world seemed like a brighter place. I'm amazed that peppermint could do this to me . I've begun a journey to incorporate it into my life everyday now

I was testing the effect of smelling spices in my kitchen and noticed so many interesting subjective psychological and cognitive effects. Coriander Seeds: Arousing Mace (Nutmeg Outer Layer): Psychedelic, High. Due to the misterycin Black Salt: Anger Ceylon Cinnamon: Desire to Play Piano (I am a musician) Cloves: Sleepiness Turmeric: Desire to meditate Vanilla: Arousal Garlic: Arousal Whole Nutmeg: Euphoria, Sleepiness Dried Mint: Focus Rosemary: Focus Sichuan Pepper: Suspicious Juniper Berries: Physically Competitive The effects I am most interested in are the cloves which I think might help me with sleep. Maybe if I leave them near my bed at night. And Rosemary and Mint for the cognitive benefits. I’m really interested in the science behind it, its quite fascinating. I’ll need to go on PubMed Its so interesting hearing the perspective of a cyclist on angry drivers. Peppermint spray sounds like a fantastic “weapon” on angry drivers haha

For over 20+ years i use P-Oil on a daily base in a pretty high amount: the main use is 20 drops in a 1,5 L bottle of diet-cola (yes i know, pure crap). if i wouldn´t use the oil in it, i would get some heavy stomach problems and diarrhea because of the sweetener. it cools the whole body from the inside and helps you to get more air, its also used as menthol-crystals in saunas and has an interesting effect when you leave the hot room, because the air and water you use afterward feels much, much colder. Because of the high daily dose, i´m not able to smell it anymore. i never felt any side effects (besides the brutal pain when you get it in the eyes.;-))
