Sometimes changes in routine can feel really big and difficult. It really sounds like you've identified what is making this harder for you right now, and the next step is simply adapting to a new routine (which it sounds like you've started!) Try not to beat yourself up. The journey is ongoing, not over 😊

It’s so easy to lose focus, especially once we’ve seen change. We think “hey I can have some treats here and there!” And the cycle begins. You’ve got this!

Exactly. The little conveniences we make because we are tired or stressed often spiral out of control and we gain all our weight back. That’s exactly why I made this video, to talk it out with u guys and then fast today in order to “reset” and get back tp business. 💖💖💖

Talking it out in this video helped me a lot! Maybe try writing down what you’re obstacles are and how you’re feelings. Sometimes that helps it seem less overwhelming and easier to tackle

The whole school thing is a lot! I’m Same with having to get there early, and it’s a lot of sitting in car waiting. I have 2 at 2 different schools right now and the sports make the pickups all different! I’ve been doing WW going on 2 months and almost at 20lbs! I’m so ecstatic it’s been working for me. But when things change in your routine it is so hard sometimes to keep it going. I think just trying your best some days is what we can do, and not let it spiral us back to before. Planning just has been my best friend when I don’t is when I grab the things I shouldn’t. We got this! Even if some days aren’t perfect! 💜

I feel your pain about all the stuff that needs to get done when your child first starts school. Thats awful that hes on the 2nd floor. I remember when my kids were in kindergarten (now 24 and 28) I used to go to the mall after dropping them off and I had to time it so that I could leave the mall at a certain time to get to the school on time. Stressful then but like you said you'll laugh about it when they're older. Dont stress the small stuff enjoy it! I was a dork and loved filling out all the paperwork the teachers would send home with the kids, I just loved doing it!🤣🤣😅😅

I remember those busy, days (years) I was doing that for my three kids & sports too…. I totally lost myself for many years as a stay at home mom. Be careful not to lose yourself too! 🤗🌸 Make sure to set aside an hour or two for yourself while he’s at school and the housework will get done here and there throughout the day…

You’ve got this Jen! You’re still adjusting to the routine, but before you know it, it’ll become second nature. I was a single mom, at 18, so I had to balance a lot at one time and I remember when my son started school, and it was hectic at first, but then it became a very natural process. Also, as George gets older, he’ll become more independent and be able to transition into becoming responsible for a lot of these things.

Thank you for sharing your struggles! I have 5 kids ranging from 2-11. We began homeschooling a year ago and I definitely struggle with "me" time and time set aside for me and my husband. There's never enough hours in the day to accomplish everything. I do find I'm in a better mental space when I wake up early and drink my coffee and read a book and have some quiet time before my kids wake up. I began keto January of 2020 and within 16 weeks I lost 50 pounds. It took another 4 months to lose 20 more pounds. I was down 70 pounds, and I was feeling great and I never expected to gain any back. Then my grandmother passed away and I began to homeschool, and I fell off the wagon once Christmas came and I am so disappointed in myself that I have gained back 50-60 pounds. I felt so good eating keto and now I feel so blah again. A month ago I had my gallbladder removed and I found out I have the start of a fatty liver. I plan to get back on keto Monday. I hate that I struggle with my weight and I have unfortunately passed that same struggle onto some of my children. I also wanted to mention, my husband started keto when I did and also lost 70 pounds and he unfortunately gained back too. Thank you for your videos. If you haven't ever checked out her videos, check out Keto in the Chaos. Tammi inspired me to begin my keto journey 😊

Its so hard to focus on you and like when you're pregnant and your main goal shifts into keeping the baby healthy and I mean alive for lack of better words- and that doesn't just disappear after they're born so it's like as a mom its hard to establish that boundary there and not feel bad for it. I am the same as my stuff is the FIRST to get backburner'd. Transition times can send you "back to the basics" where you revert back to old thinking and patterns because it was like your survival mode instincts and before you know it your boundaries are gone and you're last again... I'm rambling but I hope it makes sense and you're definitely not alone.

You’d be surprised how much things you get done when you wake up early lol 😂 yea like I am also a night owl it’s so hard like I have to use an alarm and it still sometimes hard I sleep through it but I guess it’s something you gotta practice but just try waking up a little earlier each day and go to bed at the same time. Also idk if this will help but maybe write down what you struggle with cause you say it’s hard to make yourself a priority and hard to stay on track.. same thing happened to me I am at my moms house cause I’m moving soon and our house wasn’t ready yet lol so I been on maintainence and I prob gained 2 lbs but I didn’t gain more bc I been kinda aware so I don’t go overboard. You know whenever I wanna snack I try to go for a handful , like if I want brownies I’ll have like 2-3 max 5 😅 I think we gotta practice maintainence lol Idunno I keep going back to and I feel like I am back at the same weight I was last year almost and my weight loss is so slow , so you are not alone haha I struggle with all the stuff you said too 😄

I totally get it. You think you're going to have so much more time when your kid starts school. But then reality hits. ugh. May I suggest looking into weekly resets? Taking a little time on Sunday to set some stuff up for the week. Like George's outfits and prepping lunches, meal planning, ect. There are quite a few videos out there. And also, give yourself grace! You are awesome!! Just relax you're doing fine. We're all swimming through this real thing called life ⭕ P.S. who puts preK kids on the 2nd floor?!

School should serve us. Make our lives easier. Instead we have to adjust to it, the minute it starts our well organised lives get taken over by perfect strangers, we all become stressed slaves.
