It all depends on where you do decide to live. Some cities are more expensive than some for example Toronto might be like 40% more expensive in rent wise when compared to someone living in another city called Welland. So it all depends on where

I think it’s good to start off living with others until you can afford to live by yourself. Thank you for explaining this so good.

This is true. It works out cheaper to share with another student while in Canada so you’ll be able to save more because when you share the living space the rent works out cheaper

Honestly sounds fun and like a good experience in learning the Canadian culture but it’s kinda scary just living with strangers lol good idea but I think I’ll choose off campus living or on campus residency

Yes homestay is not for everyone but I do believe that they have done their background checks of the Canadian families for them to be qualified to be a host to international students before selecting them.

Hello there. Thank you for this informative video. I think it helps a young person going to a foreign country, who does not know anyone there, so much to be prepared. I do have a few questions. You mentioned the cost of living on campus and duration it covers (September-April) but what is a student to do during the other months? Do they let you stay if you pay and what about a student taking summer classes? Is the public transportation easily available and affordable for those living off campus? Is on campus usually available or only a few will get in? Again, thank you.

Hello, students can also pay for the summer semester to live on campus depending on the school the price might varies. Public transportation operates every except for public holidays and is easily accessible once you have a bus card and download the bus transit app would be a bonus to always be on track of the bus times etc. This is accessible and available to those on campus and off campus too. You will have designated bus that leaves and only go straight to the college/university. Once you are qualified for the program you are applying for, it is good chance to get in
