Nowadays, many people has been heading to IMH for counseling, I believe the new generation stress are getting too high. We should help kids to identify their interest as early as possible instead of forcing them on academic results which they don't find it meaningful. When a person has an interest in life, they will perform well and work harder with much lesser or even without stress. We should also apply this into the army too which I personally felt it is lacking of.

I think our education system is pushing our young generation to the limit. There is too much stress and competition even when our children are starting out in primary schools. A professional that I know states that our working society is also obsessed with overloading and overworking, which makes it very challenging for us to unwind, even when it is resting time. Many people are now experiencing emotional and mental problems, and if nothing is done, tragedies like this may become more frequent in the future.

Time to think of the bigger picture. What is the purpose of education? Education in Singapore is only exams and grades. Nothing else. That’s the focus and emphasis. I have been through it. Didn’t enjoy it. Don’t remember much of what I have learnt, less on application. My only application is exam. This would be much harder to do, because one can easily sneak a weapon by concealing it in their bag. This means that either every student's bag has to be checked(which is quite ridiculous) or metal detectors must be installed, which can be very expensive. Plus, everyday items like scissors, penknifes, etc are used by students as tools but can also be used as weapons, so it's quite hard to control these types of weapons from being brought to school. @@Hurairah_SG well, countries like China and Korea have been said to be even harder than Singapore's own tests. Assuming that's the case, how would those children make it out of school if it was more stressful, thus causing them to commit suicide? Also, i agree with the sentiment that more breaks or stress relieving activities would be nice to have, but the thing is, if your children can't take the stress, that's fine. Its just that someone with a higher stress tolerance may seem more tempting to an employer than someone that needs breaks often, no matter how wrong it sounds. And for your last point, yes, we are just humans, but if we do not push ourselves to the best and maximise our potential, then the likelihood of being taken over by robots are far more possible.

I mean you can literally buy materials for a molotov cocktail and smuggle and assemble it in school thanks to the big bags students need. In my opinion, school is just an asset value measuring system to determine the value of a certain person. This depends on how hard the students work, not the expectations of the school, which creates stress and then not so good looking outcomes. This has to be addressed but the education system has been edited multiple times so its unlikely to remodel the education system. The only thing that can help students now is to understand them and how they feel to find the best possible solution. To a country, the citizens are the country, but in the end, are merely pawns used to improve it.

To your heart: "I will praise you because I was formed so wonderfully and wonderfully. Wonderful are your works and my soul knows it very well." (Psalm 139:14). Hi. Your life is God's design. From the womb, God dreamed of you and traced a path. Will we choose God's plans, or ours? Jesus is the Way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father without Christ. Invoke him and he will sustain you and lead you, in love, to his purposes of peace and salvation. Care for him will supply you. Your comfort and faithfulness will strengthen you. You are precious to God. Pray. Read the Bible. Jesus will return soon.Greetings. From Brazil.🙏🌹
