Really amazing piece of work not only is the physics incredible the visuals show how wonderful the BGE can be.

You're skills are incredible man. I feel like this type of physics would be best integrated with virtual reality devices. I've read about the valve/htc vive device recently, you should really look into that. If you could experience scenarios with virtual reality by using the things you make here as basically the environment, then augmented reality would be right around the corner. You should really look into it, VR companies need people with amazing skill in order to make a good result.

I think the "faked" area lights were pretty clever. I was really wondering how they were achieved even as the camera moved around until I opened the .blend file and realized how simple it was.

To run in stand-alone you need to remove blocks using "bpy", that's all. I was using "bpy" to access things in Blender, like groups for "constraint chains" or to "set to initial", since it's just a Blender demo example, not game. Enlever les références à "bpy" est simple, mais il faut soit désactiver certaines fonctions ou les changer.

all this real-time, are you joking people. i find it hard to believe,. the rendering uses bump mapping + depth of field + reflection + motion blur + smooth shadow (shadow mapping perhaps) + glow effect + and finally the most expensive "indirect illumination", I am not saying that real-time cannot do that, but i have not seen such perfection in real time, and yet, a physics engine that is remarkably stable on heavy rigid bodies (the horses) is running .. guys ... are you sure this is real-time??

I realize that I made a similar chain using the same asset... Though, all I did was a small video. Not real time. But we basically did the same thing, amazing. Edit: It works in real-time with a low stepping value.

Ill explain whats happening in technical terms... AHAM ,well there were three snakes. a long one, a short fat one, and one that was eating his own tail. Well they played around and things were pretty fine until the horses landed. so the snakes tossed 2x4s and globes at them but missed horribly. so the kamikaze ponys attacked and all the snakes and ponys engages in WW3 disregarding Geneva and everyone was buried in blocks. My expertise with blender helps me understand these things...

Guys please tell me how to do the mouse grab the link is dead also Ever since near the beginning of my learning of blender's game engine I saw Phymec's videos years ago and I thought it was really cool. I wanted to figure out how you can do that realistic rendering it looked so real to me it looked like a ghost was throwing things around!! (that was before I knew what external renderers was. such as Luxrender or yafaray.) Can someone PLEASE tell me how to do mouse grab so I can throw around things?
