The older I am, the more I realize that it's so hard to focus for a long time, especially when I study or do something difficult that really needs my concentration. I have a bad habit to check my phone very frequently even I don't reply to anyone's message or really do anything. This time, I use my phone to record the video (that's why I cannot touch my phone at least🤣), also as the phone is recording, I feel like someone watching me, I become more disciplined and focus better👩🏼💻. I applied the Pomodoro technique. They said: "For most people most of the time, the sweet spot will be in the 25-50 minute range for peak concentration with a 5-15 minute break." So instead of studying for long without really completing anything, the technique means to break the big task into small ones, try to highly focus at once, and then take a break.
How to do it:
1. Get a to-do list and a timer.
2. Set your timer for 25 minutes, and focus on a single task until the timer rings.
3. When your session ends, mark off one pomodoro and record what you completed.
4. Then enjoy a five-minute break.
After four pomodoros, take a longer, more restorative 15-30 minute break.
Good luck!
