Back in November 2021 I had a wonderful experience filming a troop of stump-tailed macaques here in Kaeng Krachan National Park, and ever since then I've been looking for a chance to film this species again. Today my wish came true as a troop (perhaps the same one that I had previously filmed) climbed up into a tree and started to feast on some small fruits. Stump-tailed macaques are sometimes affectionately referred to as Stumpies, and sometimes not so affectionately as Ugly Monkeys.
