Stunning scenery on the West Highland railway line in Scotland! I travel between Loch Eil Outward Bound and Glenfinnan featuring wonderful mountain views over Loch Eil and the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct! The scenery is really fantastic!
Journey on Scotrail Class 156 'Super Sprinter' 156446.
The West Highland line in Scotland begins at Glasgow Queen Street and continues all the way to Mallaig via Fort William. Total journey time is approx 5 hours 30 minutes each way. The scenery is wonderful throughout, with the best bit being Fort William - Mallaig, most notably the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct!
You can also travel to Oban on the West Highland Line. Trains travel from Glasgow Queen Street to Crianlarich and then split to continue to either Oban or Mallaig.
