I understand what he is saying, I do instagram promotions for some military/hunting/airsoft stores ( you dont earn to much, you can but you really need to know what you are doing, I dont earn much but nice ammount to "refund" my airsoft gear ), but I know what he is talking about, all that bullshit about motivation quotes and that shit, im in love with photography and military gear ( In my country its hard to own real firearm legaly, so Airsoft is my option) and I started doing something I enjoy. But I dont like ppl who praise their like stores or airsoft manufacturers, saying its the best replica or gear and shit like that, I speak about all ups and downs, maybe more downs ( and i think that is the reason why they get mad at me ), but if something is really well made I will tell people about it. cheers mate !

finally, someone making the case AGAINST heavier BB= better argument also of concern: heavier BBs needs more hop depression and that can get you jams in AEG, heavy BBs over 0.32g have metal/metallic salt powder addition and that fucks with hardness of BB (softer BB = more likely to deform and jam on GBBs), roundness of BB and consistency of center of BB gravity due to air bubbles, and it does you no good if muzzle velocity goes below 200FPS (too slow, you need to lead shot unless in relatively close range where heavy BB doesn't have any advantages anyway )

@@philtrysstrongman That being the case, you're talking about joule creep in essence. Sure, it makes a difference in GBBRs (as noted) but in the original comment, I'm guessing the OP was referring to the power being the same. Hypothetically...... ;-) Doesn't make a jot of difference in either case assuming that the weight, velocity, drag, height from the ground etc are all constant is the point. Tangenitally I stuck a 550mm barrel in my old VSR and ruined it. Sure, gained some FPS but consistency went straight out the window in comparison to the 430mm I had in previously - Laylax barrels if you're wondering - so sure, it can 100% cause problems all over the shop.

Nice guy, older fellow but absolutely REFUSES to work on Cyma, his reason being that they're 'shit TM clones' (irony that he recently worked on a Double Bell AK and that wasn't a particularly great one). Which is hilarious considering that Cyma AKs range from TM style clones to LCT style clones, and other techs I know have only good things to say about Cyma on a performance level and being able to work on one versus more exotic guns. And from personal experience, they last quite long in spite of hard use.

Fields with power limits mean that a BB of a given weight has a maximum velocity it can go. Period. Hop will compensate for drop up to a point, but at the end of the day hurling a lighter thing faster will generally go farther... but wind will muck with you more. BB weight is some crazy crap. I tend to stick with the .20g as I play indoors and wind is fuck all inside a building so I benefit from the flatter, faster BB. yay me.
@AnvilAirsoftTV
2 жыл бұрын
@@TheActionBastard not true largely I’m afraid. But we are talking about generalities here. In general a heavier BB will be longer ranged and more accurate for a given power level IF you can efficiently hop it. There is a drop off again when a BB gets too heavy and the Replica needs to rob too much energy to hop it. Also, Heavier BBs carry their energy for longer and will be faster to target than a lighter one over longer distances. For example a .32g gets to 30m faster than a .20g out of a 1.1J UK AEG if it can efficiently lift it.

@@TheActionBastard this is legit the stupidest comment I've read. A heavier bb with the exact same kinetic energy will go further. Heavier BBS are less affected by drag caused by air friction, and due to their higher density, they conserve their Magnus effect for longer. Learn some physics why don't you.

I seen a couple pictures just last night of some fool in the middle of the woods laying in a puddle with his weapon as well as all his gear. Except, that he was wearing Alpine camo... In the woods!! Un-fucking-believable. Some people man, idk what the hell they're thinking.
