Man I really miss riding 7 years ago some kid made a left turn into me I had 1 second to react next thing I know was laying in the street my wife a few feet away the bike went over the car with us my wife was very lucky just road rash is was not broke 37 bones and spent 11 months in nursing home . but watching this brings back many great memories. I have risen since 1964 and always had a bike. Take care and have a great and safe trip. Jay

I completely detailed my bike last weekend, waxed, polished, shined right up. Went to an event at the dealer and after being inside for an hour when I came out I was like where’s my bike…it’s not that one it’s to clean….the shine off the chrome was blinding….looked around and was like that is my bike! 😂🤷🏻♂️😎

Every time I've gone out there just before bike week starts I see more people heading home than arriving. Best way is to come a full week early do your riding with less traffic, stay one day at the ralley so you can say you've been, grab your T-shirt then head home.

Great video man, lets me live vicariously, thanks! I firmly believe there are people, lots in fact, who drive a minimum 10 under for the sole purpose of exerting some perceived power over others because they are miserable people and want to share that with others. Why else clog the roads around Sturgis when the rally is in town? Twilight Zone "Time Enough at Last"... to some a nightmare, others an absolute dream. 😎👍

I was hit by a speeding full-size truck while standing near a residential street. The driver took off after the incident. I was no where near my bike at the time. I’ve been laid up with a broken leg and spent 3 weeks in the hospital. Although I rode during the winter months when possible, the real riding season is upon us. The worse thing about this is I may not be able to ride until June; I was hit on March 5th. I have to say I couldn’t even watch your videos while I was in the hospital because I was so pissed about not being able to walk let alone drive a car or ride my Harley. But now I really enjoy watching your older ride videos from the Sturgis area. I’ve never been but if I can swing it, I’m going this year. Thank you for making these. I’m a long time subscriber but I don’t interact with your channel much. I really enjoy your other content as well.

Dude, you have no idea how enjoyable it was watching this vid. None of that godawful gut wrenching country western slop of a sound track to try and ignore...just the wonderful sound of that big twin rumbling through the curves and dissecting the Needles with precision. We felt your pain at having to follow the cage through the views, but all in all, it made us just get lost in the beauty of countryside. You made our having to stay home this year totally tolerable...AND, you saved us $300 a night motel fees! Nicely done Monkey. PS: why don't you find a way to post this worldwide to all other biker video wannabees and show 'em that the rumble of a moto heart is all they need to sell their craft...not some shit kickin' Allan Jackson sound track.

This is the perfect cautionary video for riding needles or iron mountain. You’ll never know who’s in front of you faking their time sightseeing and they don’t understand why inching up around corners and switchback is hazardous to motorcycles! This one should be posted to the Sturgis Rally 81 FB page as a case in point to be mindful of your level of riding before attempting such rides dealing with slower cages in front of you on switchbacks.

Bike sounded Great climbing through the Black Hills, I loved riding with others but truthfully nothing as cleansing as a Ride all by your lonesome, no one else to worry about but the the occasional cager or critter, Some of those approach's into turns helped show those that have never been to Sturgis how PLAN how to Enter and leave turns that can be dangerous. Truthfully if I was Still riding every handful of years would take an Advanced Riders Course, I Mean can you Be Too Skilled

Looking for a Black Harley while at Sturgis... lmao. A needle in a haystack Watching you putt along made my day. It also reminded me of the old joke. Q: Why is does the guy on the sports bike pass a Harley? A: The guy on the sports bike is trying to get somewhere. The guy on the Harley is already where he wants be. Hey what was the deal with that cage I front of you. Slowing down like the driver had never seen a corner before and wasn't sure what to do..
