Yes. Very helpful. Explained why my hair never gets the same effect as yours because my hair is more like your sisters and my curl pattern starts lower on my head so I don’t have much up on the top of my head. Mine is all lower, so it was good to see that and it made so much sense to me because I’m new to embracing my curly wavy hair! It would be great to see someone with less tight curls. That would help me I know! Thank you. I’ve learned so much following you!!!❤️

Ah that is a lovely result! I hope she starts using gel because it would make refresh much easier as the gel is usually water activated, so just mist the hair, scrunch, diffuse and you're ready! I previously used denman bruhes the classic one and boar bristle one, but tangle teezer or tangle angel works best. I just ordered a tangle teezer naturally curly version, curious to see how it will work :)

You do such a beautiful job!! I love how you do hair! My hair is exactly to the t except I have both waves and curls! I would love for you to do my hair! I actually started doing my hair like you do your hair. All these years I complained why does my hair have to be so stringy! I hate it!! Now I actually don’t because I never thought of clumping my hair like this and it actually does work!! Thank you because you actually helped me so much you have no clue!! ❤ My hair is healthier and nicer nowadays. I used to wear hair extensions all the time and no kidding when I say this since I was like 19 years old. I’m an old 48 year old lady who now has been wearing halo extensions but now they are just getting on my nerves to because of the knotting underneath the lace part of them. I’m able to be free of them now because you taught me how to make my hair look great without that mess!!! Again, thank you so much and god bless you ❤

@@angelaerskine9616 Yes! I agree with Tamara. It does get easier with practice. With practice, the less time it takes. I was intimidated, at first, too, after my hair grew back curly after I lost most of it to illness. It went from about a 2A wave to 3A,3B curls. It's not nearly as hard to take care of or as time consuming as I first thought. The satin bonnet makes a huge difference and is an enormous help at keeping the hair in shape during the night, and I toss and turn a lot! Good luck to you!

Help!! Dealing with aging (67-yrs old) 2C/3A hair. My hair has always been fine but at least I used to have a lot of it. Now menopause has thinned it on top as well as changing my hairline in front. It will no longer grow long without looking horribly stringy, so I’m limited to a bob between ear & chin length. I can’t pineapple or bonnet it at night & to say it is a pain to ‘fix again’ every morning is an understatement. After almost 15-yrs of it, I’d LOVE a different style but when I Google “short styles for thin & fine curly hair”, they show pics of Meg Ryan type hair or lengths like your sister’s. Can you point me to a web site/guidance for us older curly girls who don’t want to look frumpy but can’t find help for this type hair?

I purchased one a while ago and discovered that I don't like the sensation of pressure around my hairline when I'm trying to sleep, so I can't do it! It bothers me too much and I always end up, taking it off. I just need to get a silk pillowcase.
@nataliedean7551
Жыл бұрын
@@SabbigalAS That sensation can be bothersome. It took me about a week to get used to, but if your bonnet is a little on the looser side and not tight, it feels better. I use a satin bonnet and satin pillowcase. The combination works well. Sometimes, I do get lazy and sleep without a bonnet, just on my satin pillowcase. It works fine. The only thing I'll say is I've found the curls may not stay quite as defined and there is a little bit more frizz. Silk and satin are prone to static electricity, so the sliding of the hair on the pillowcase could create a little static that can cause frizz. If you have a satin bonnet on, your hair has less room to move around, and the bonnet slides on the satin pillowcase, not your hair. But sleeping without a bonnet is completely your choice! And Yes. Do invest in a silk or good quality satin pillowcase. It makes a TON of difference for your hair in the morning! Good luck!
