"Oh! We poets always have our pockets full of love letters, written to so many imaginary beauties. Now, you can take this one and make the words ring true. Take this fictional letter, meant for no particular lady, and put it to real use. Take all my insincere romantic lines and give them a direction. I haven't played this game yet, but I agree with this so much lol!! Sometimes it's hard to feel like that... trust IS hard to feel in this world and it can make it impossible to really love someone. Or really understand what love is in the first place... before you start thinking it's too late. Sometimes, you just need to give yourself space and time to really understand what makes it right for you to love, I think. This track really is inspiring...!

@@lenelenalaine If you're able to stomach repetitive prose and disturbing subject matter I think Subahibi is an incredible literary experience. I finished it a month ago and its story, characters and music still stick with me. It's a story I hope to re-examine again in the future because it's so memorable to me. And when life gets tough, this VN will remind me to live happily.

@@ProxesHub finished it about 2 weeks ago, probably had the best 1-2 punch I've experienced bc i read Muramasa right before it. I will never forget Subahibi (and i hope Tsui no SoraRE and Sakura no Uta get english translations soon). subahibi ramped up the literary and philosophical discussions the entire VN, but the feeling of getting across the overtly grotesque and schizophrenic content into an eventual....peace, was outstanding. its hard to explain the feelings this VN makes you feel.

This vn has a lot of scenes which not only gave me extreme level of anxiety, but also unthinkable disgust. But…even through everything, as i moved on, i just accepted it. Like, these things happen because of their foolishness and mental instability. It was their mind making them go through scenarios i would never even want my enemies to go through. But still, they seem to be hoping to reach a better end. An end where things are actually a "wonderful everyday". Seeing it through from the hell it takes me, that's what is going to make it worth it, isn't it? I am still on "My own invention" where takuji was talking with the "mahou shoujo" . Genuinely speaking…this story is really shaping into something which might change my views towards life. I have read re zero, oyasumi punpun and berserk. So reading this……feels pleasantly odd

This will sound weird, but I have 132 hours in this game and I still haven't finished it. A fair bit of that is because of a lost save on my old computer, but most of it is because I just love to reread the earlier parts to find all the hints the author leaves behind as to what's actually going on. I have no doubt it's the most beautifully crafted story I've ever read, and it breaks my heart that there's next to no community around it, at least not over here.
