Late to the party, but my goodness! Easily one of the best instructors of rhythmic concepts I've seen (particularly on YT). Informative, concise, as well as creative and fun. You nailed all of it. I really hope you keep making videos. I'd love to learn about specific topics from you (like subdividing possibilities in 3/4 time and others). A king amongst men for sure. Thank you so much Mr. Gabay.

@9:55 I love 3 into 32 shenanigans.. Played at the right speed, it gives an 11/8 feel, which is awesome. Danny Carey used to really mess with my head with this.

The 4 slowly morphing into 3 is pretty much exactly what Between The Buried And Me did on the Coma Ecliptic album. The last 20 seconds of "Dim Ignition" leading into the beginning of "Famine Wolf" shows that very well. (Except it's from 3 to 7 I think?)

I might be wrong, but isn't this a polymeter rather than a polyrhythm?

Yogev, I would like to hear your point of view about The diference between polyrhythms and polymeters. This is a problematic conceptual discussion!
