Looking very good! I can’t believe how thin that metal got. Glad you caught that!

I saw a good Amount of rust before blasting but i was surprised when it came back from the blaster how thin it was. The rest of the frame looks great. Crazy how these cars all rust in different places.

We all see the body mounts rot out, from what I have seen the control arm mounts are the second weak link so definitely worth checking out.

Good job, I would be more confident in your new weld patch than the factory’s. I will definitely look closely at this area on my 67. Thanks.

I was a bit disappointed in the contamination in the factory welds. I am certain this will out last the rest of the car.

Good you have the face shield. Now you need to add the respirator. The dust off those grinding wheels is not good for you. Not my business though. Great video as usual.

Thanks buddy, I am Sure they improve every time you weld plus the important part is you are out there getting it done. Making great progress on that bird. Only thing you should not mess with is those cylinder heads. You should just give them to me just like the dash clock😉

@@VinylVillageGarage Thank You, I guess the battery acid leaked on it when it was parked for 30 years or so and made it paper thin , just the goat horn the rest is good

What kind of metal sheet did you used?

1/8” plate, again patching a frame is a do at your own risk. And if it’s severely rusted might look into a replacement one.
